This system includes an object having a curved surface; at least one substantially flat interdigital transducer, wherein the interdigital transducer is operative to generate surface energy waves; and at least one coupling device disposed between the curved surface and the substantially flat interdigital transducer, wherein the coupling device is operative to conform to the curved surface, support the interdigital transducer, and provide a medium through which the surface energy waves can effectively travel from the interdigital transducer to the curved surface and across the curved surface in a predetermined direction.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for producing transgenic plants, which involves producing hemagglutinin proteins of the H5N1 virus using a plant transformation recombinant vector, wherein said vector can express hemagglutinin proteins of the H5N1 virus, the highly pathogenic avian influenza virus, and transport proteins expressed in plants to the endoplasmic reticulum and enable the retention of the proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum to enable glycosylation required for antigen activity. The present invention also relates to a method for the mass production of hemagglutinin proteins of the antigenic H5N1 virus from transgenic plants or a vaccine composition for the avian influenza virus comprising the transgenic plants or the hemagglutinin proteins produced from the plants. The transgenic plants can be used as edible vaccines, antigenic hemagglutinin proteins produced can be used as protein vaccines for the H5N1 avian influenza virus, or as diagnostic reagents for avian influenza virus infection.

    摘要: A carbon nanotube (“CNT”) gas sensor includes a substrate, an insulating layer formed on the substrate, electrodes formed on the insulating layer, and CNT barriers that protrude higher than the electrodes in spaces between the electrodes to form gas detecting spaces. A method of manufacturing the gas sensor includes forming an insulating layer on a substrate, forming an electrode pattern on the insulating layer, coating CNT paste having a thickness greater than a thickness of electrodes in the electrode pattern on the electrodes and the insulating layer, and patterning and firing the carbon nanotube paste, including using a photolithography method, to retain only portions of the CNT paste coated on spaces between the electrodes.
