Abstract:
An apparatus and method for transmitting a plurality of key data. When a Short-Term Key Message (STKM) is received, a mobile equipment transmits the received STKM to a smart card. The smart card determines whether there are a plurality of key data in the STKM, detects the plurality of key data when there are the plurality of key data, generates individual information for identifying each of the plurality of detected key data, generates a response message having the plurality of detected key data and the generated individual information, and transmits the response message to the mobile equipment. Therefore, a plurality of key data can be included and transmitted in one message.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of efficiently processing a Short-Term Key Message (STKM) in the mobile broadcast supporting the mobile terminal. A structure of a response message according to processing the STKM in the smart card is also provided. In particular, a variety of information necessary for reproducing in the player is included in the response message and delivered to the mobile terminal, thereby the mobile terminal can easily obtain the desired information through the response message. Therefore, when the STKM is processed in the mobile terminal, there is no need to process operations except for a resending check, and the information does not need to be stored separately.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for providing broadcasting service information in a mobile broadcasting system are provided. The method for determining broadcasting service information includes determining a mapping table which matches information of a Service Map Table (SMT) and an Electronic Service Guide (ESG); determining at least one component ID in an SMT provided from a serving base station; determining whether there is an ESG matching to the component ID of the SMT using the mapping table; and, when detecting the ESG matching to the component ID of the SMT, determining service information by combining the ESG that matches the SMT with the SMT.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for controlling a vehicle are provided which can include advantages of controlling corresponding to lateral wind frequency. Because the vehicle is controlled on the basis of frequency areas and a force of a lateral wind, driving stability of the vehicle and driver comfort can be enhanced.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) terminal and a method for providing a broadcast preview service in a terrestrial DMB system. The method provides a broadcasting service preview by a DMB terminal in a DMB system having a DMB broadcasting station for providing the DMB terminal with ensembles containing at least one broadcasting service provided by respective service providers. The method includes receiving all of the ensembles at a broadcasting service preview request of a user, creating preview images for broadcasting services within the ensembles, and displaying the preview images on a screen together with corresponding broadcasting service information. The user can obtain detailed information regarding available broadcasting services and conveniently select a desired broadcasting service without additional operation.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a user interface method for switching modes in a combined terrestrial DMB terminal. When an event according to other mode (B) occurs, a user's key input is confirmed. It is checked if the key input aims at mode switching, and if so, a current service mode is switched to the other mode (B). Otherwise, it is further checked if the key input is a key input for immediate execution. When the key input for immediate execution aims at immediate execution following audio termination, an audio service in the current service mode (A) is terminated, and then the current service mode is switched to the other mode (B). When the key input for immediate execution aims at immediate execution without the audio termination, a video service in the current service mode (A) is terminated, and then the current service mode is switched to the other mode (B).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a wide-band dispersion controlled optical fiber. The optical fiber enables the use of optical signals in various wavelength regions in a wavelength division multiplexing mode communication network by controlling the position of the zero dispersion wavelength, and enables long distance transmission by controlling dispersion slope and bending loss. Furthermore, there is an advantage in that the optical fiber enables not only short distance transmission but also middle/long distance transmission using a single type of optical fiber because the optical fiber is controlled to have negative dispersion values in the O-band wavelength region and positive dispersion values with small deviations in the C-band and L-band wavelength regions.
Abstract:
A reflective type optical delay interferometer includes a coupler to divide an optical signal into two optical signals; a first optical waveguide connected to the coupler, to have a first optical delay path for transmitting a first optical signal which is one of the two optical signals; a second optical waveguide connected to the coupler, to transmit a second optical signal which is the other of the two optical signals and to have an optical delay path asymmetrical to the first optical delay path; and first and second polarization rotation reflection devices respectively connected to the first and second optical waveguides, wherein the first polarization rotation reflection device rotates polarizations of the first optical signal and the reflected first optical signal and the second polarization rotation reflection device rotates polarizations of the second optical signal and the reflected second optical signal.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for providing heterogeneous services using a PIP function in a terrestrial DMB receiver. The method includes: a first step of receiving a key input for activating the PIP function and displaying a list of services in an available ensemble during use of a desired DMB service; a second step of selecting a desired item in the list of services; a third step of identifying if the desired item selected at the second step is an “exchange” function and identifying if PIP function of the terrestrial DMB receiver is activated when the selected item is the “exchange” function; a fourth step of exchanging a service of a main screen for a service of a PIP screen, when it is identified that the PIP function is activated at the third step; and a fifth step of identifying if the desired item selected at the second step is the “exchange” function and displaying the selected item on the PIP screen when the selected item is not the “exchange” function.
Abstract:
A dual mode Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) terminal for simultaneously receiving signals of satellite and terrestrial DMB broadcasting stations includes a satellite DMB receiver for receiving and demodulating the satellite signals, and outputting a satellite MPEG 2-TS, and another receiver for analogously processing terrestrial signals. A classification unit switches the two types of MPEG 2-TSs, and outputs the switched MPEG 2-TS to a broadcasting information display unit or an MPEG 2-TS output unit. The first unit generates TAG information, and inserts it into the MPEG 2-TS. A storage unit saves the MPEG 2-TS. The MPEG 2-TS output unit decodes and outputs the MPEG 2-TS. A controller transfers selection information for a switching operation of the DMB classification unit, and transfers information on a decoding scheme.
