Further, none of the dimensions correlates to a side by side ordering of the consumer products. Further still, a user selection of one or more of the consumer products is received. With a Microsoft Word document, the contents and the associated portion of the EIC pattern are printed page by page. A virtual printer intercepts a spooled printed job and saves the associated enhanced metafile. Subsequently, the EMF and the associated EIC pattern for each page are printed. With a Microsoft PowerPoint® document, each page is printed with a selected number of slides and with an associated portion of the EIC pattern. A note-taking section and play control buttons may be printed. For a Microsoft InfoPath™ document, an HTML document is obtained from the InfoPath XML document before printing. Microsoft InfoPath prints the image of one page with the associated EIC pattern.

An etchant includes nitric acid (HNO3) having a percentage by mass in the approximate range of 4%-6%, hydrochloric acid (HCl) having a percentage by mass in the approximate range of 1%-3%; and ferric ions (Fe3+) having a concentration in the approximate range of 30-70 grams/liter (g/l). The resultant etchant is suitable for etching aluminum and its alloys. In fact, the etchant is capable of etching such a material to a depth of about 0.1 mm in about 1.8 min, when employed at a temperature in the approximate range of 38° C.-48° C. The etchant further may be recycled, for which an added oxidizer may further be employed.

Global metadata may be decoded from the combined m-array by determining the respective amounts by which the plurality of copies of the first m-array are shifted, relative to the first m-array, in the combined m-array and by combining the respective amounts to produce a decoded value of the global metadata.
