摘要： A pocket billiards break shot training apparatus for improving the execution of a break shot. The training apparatus permits a user to make continuously repeated break shots without the time consuming necessity of gathering and re-racking the object balls after each shot. Moreover, the training apparatus permits a user to increase skill in controlling post break, cue ball positioning. The apparatus employs a head ball, rear ball, and two side balls oriented around cross-shaped frame to simulate a racked set of balls. Furthermore, the apparatus utilizes the compression of a spring element to sufficiently simulate the actual reaction of a set of racked balls to the impact of a cue ball. A bow restraint assembly interacts with a set of elastic cords to moor the frame in a desirable position on the table and reposition the frame after each shot.

摘要： A cheque writing desk for use in conjunction with a customer control line rail system, which may be arranged in an essentially "free standing" manner in any appropriate location in the customer area of a bank, trust company or other location, and which may be used on one side for the writing of cheques and the like, and having a partition extending along the table, carrying deposit slips and the like on one side, and which on its reverse side may carry advertising pamphlets for the bank or any other purpose. The cheque writing desk has one or more couplings by means of which it may be connected with the line rail system at or about the point where the customers enter the line rail system. In this way, the customers may write their cheques, or deposits on one side of the desk just prior to entering the line rail system, and as they pass around the desk to enter the line rail system, they may then examine the advertising material at a location in which they are bound to be waiting for a few minutes, and may, therefore, give their attention to such material without distraction.

Preferably, the plurality of curves are generated by a predictive analytics and forecasting engine using an optimized Chebyshev polynomial curve selected to a desired closeness of fit to the normalized data.

摘要： An cleaning mechanism especially well suited for agricultural products in which the agricultural products are moved by a flow of water through a channel in which the water is agitated by vibration of the channel. The agitation of the water, together with contact with other products, dislodges dirt, rocks, and other debris from the products. The dislodged debris settles into troughs at the bottom of the channel. The washed agricultural products fall over a baffle at the end of the channel and are ready for packaging. In one embodiment of the invention, the cleaning system is conveyed through the agricultural field to clean the product immediately after harvest so that the agriculture product leaves the field in a wrapped or packaged state.

摘要： A remotely controllable power control system wherein the power supplied to a load may be varied locally via an actuator, positionable through a continuous range, on a wall control or from a remote location using a remote control device not electrically wired to the wall control. The load control system includes a transmitter and a wall control/receiver, each having a control actuator for adjusting the power supplied to the load. Control can be obtained by either the transmitter or the wall control/receiver immediately upon manipulation of either control actuator, with the adjustment in power level occurring substantially instantaneously. Communication between the transmitter and the wall control/receiver is by digitally encoded infrared signal.
