    摘要: A batting tee supporting a ball has a base, a telescoping post having a first tube, a second tube, a rod, and a flexible ball holder secured to the telescoping post. Wearable bushing assemblies enable friction between components of the tee to remain at least substantially constant over a range of tolerances, even as bushings wear. Each bushing assembly includes a bushing holder, a C-shaped spring positioned around at least a portion of the bushing holder, and a C-shaped bushing constructed of wearable material and positioned at least partially around an outer periphery of the C-shaped spring. Each bushing assembly is positioned into a respective tube such that the C-shaped bushing contacts an inner surface of its respective tube. The C-shaped spring provides an outward radial force for applying friction between the C-shaped bushing and the inner surface of the tube when one component is axially moved relative to another.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a ball tee for supporting a ball. The ball tee includes a base, a telescoping post, a clamp, and a ball holder. The base presents a plurality of laterally extending arms and an opening. The telescoping post includes a static segment and a first telescoping segment. The clamp is configured to secure the telescoping post to the base. The clamp is disposed at least partially within said opening of the base and at least partially around said static segment of the telescoping post. The ball holder is disposed atop the telescoping post configured to support a ball. The ball holder includes a rolled flexible sheet and an outer holder (and in some embodiments an inner holder). The rolled flexible sheet presents a generally conical shape oriented with a large end upward for supporting the ball, and is at least partially disposed within the outer holder.

    摘要: A method of providing a craft kit involves providing a kit including a frame with a window and a collection of beads presenting a plurality of colors and a pre-selected, fixed number of beads of each color. After providing the craft kit an image is received from a user. A bead template is generated by assigning a bead color to each of a plurality of bead positions on the template document to create a representation of the image using only beads from the collection of beads in the craft kit, and including a bead color indicator in each of said positions on the template document corresponding to the assigned bead color. Once the bead template document is created, it is transferred to the user to enable assembly of a bead array on the frame presenting the representation of the image.

Embodiments include mobile decoupled payments accounts based upon open or closed loop processing networks and mobile decoupled payments accounts that are ACH-direct accounts. An issuer of the mobile decoupled payments account authorizes or declines transactions and, for approved transactions, initiates an ACH transaction to obtain funds corresponding to an approved purchase transaction from the demand deposit account of the accountholder. Embodiments include person-to-person mobile payments and merchant-specific gifts and prioritized selection of accounts associated with a decoupled mobile payments account for processing a purchase transaction made with a mobile device.

    摘要: An ergonomic and weatherproof hand-held electronic device 10. The device 10 includes a housing 12 which surrounds internal electronics. An input 28 and a display screen 32 are mounted on the housing 12. The housing 12 is has a narrow width such that, when held in a hand, the thumb of that same hand may extend fully across the input 28 for full access. The display screen 32 is mounted vertically below the input 28 such that the device may be more stable and more easily grasped. The device includes two cylindrical cavities 48 to receive batteries 42. The cavities 48 are located at the rear vertical edges of the housing such that the rear of the housing 12 is relatively rounded and thus easier to grasp. The battery cavities open to the exterior of the housing. A battery cover 54 is mounted to the housing and seals the cavities 48. A contact for each cavity 48 is located on the cover, and a bus bar extends between the contacts to complete the circuit between the batteries 42.
