    摘要: An endocardial mapping system is described to map electric field activity in a heart chamber. The system includes a catheter assembly having an expandable array of electrodes and a plug with each electrode connected to a single connection in the plug. The system also contains an interface apparatus with a plug adapter to receive the catheter plug, a voltage acquisition apparatus, and a signal generator to generate signals in response to voltages received on the electrodes. Finally, the system contains a computer capable of computing a three-dimensional volumetric electric field distribution based on signals received from the signal generator.

    摘要: A reduced-pressure treatment system includes an isolation device for isolating a tissue site from surrounding tissue for reduced-pressure treatment that is formed from a first material having a first bio-absorption term and at least a second material having a second and different bio-absorption term. The different materials allow the isolation device initially to function well for reduced-pressure treatment and then to experience degradation at a quicker pace which facilitates healing. In addition, a reduced-pressure manifold for treating a tissue site is presented that includes a flexible barrier member formed from a first material, which has a first bio-absorption term and formed with a first plurality of apertures; a second material, which has a second bio-absorption term, disposed within the plurality of apertures; wherein the first bio-absorption term is greater than the second bio-absorption term; and a reduced-pressure delivery member coupled to the barrier member for delivering reduced pressure to the second surface of the barrier member during reduced-pressure treatment.

    摘要: A method of delivering ablation therapy in a heart chamber includes inserting a catheter in the heart chamber. Electrophysiological data in the heart chamber is acquired with the catheter. The position of the catheter is determined using an electromagnetic field source external to the heart chamber, and the location of the acquired electrophysiological data is determined using the position of the catheter. The acquired electrophysiological data is integrated with the location of the acquired electrophysiological data. Information related to the three-dimensional geometry of at least a portion of the heart chamber is received. A continuous three-dimensional color-coded map of the electrophysiological data is created and superimposed on a geometrical representation of the three-dimensional geometry information. The map is then utilized to deliver ablation therapy.
