    摘要: A golf training device comprises a first elastic band loop attached to a strap wrapped around the lead shoulder of the golfer at one end and to the shaft of the golf club at the other end and also comprises a second elastic band loop attached to a strap wrapped around the lead shoulder of the golfer at one end and to the butt end of the grip of the golf club at the other end. When the golfer extends his or her arms to swing the golf club, the resistance provided by the rubber bands helps guide the golfer's swing by informing the proper location of the arms and hands of the golfer relative to the body for maximum leverage throughout the golf swing.

    摘要: A vehicle side-view mirror water removal arrangement is easily retrofitted to vehicles having an existing source of compressed air and a side-view mirror with a reflective surface. The arrangement includes a valve having an input port connected to the existing source of compressed air and an output port, the valve being movable between open and closed positions to control the flow of compressed air from the existing source of compressed air to the output port of the valve. A conduit's proximal end is connected to the output port of the valve with its distal end located at the side-view mirror for conducting the compressed air from the output port of the valve to the side-view mirror. A fastener fastens the distal end of the conduit to the side-view mirror so that the compressed air flows down the reflective surface of the side-view mirror, a nozzle at the distal end being provided to spread the compressed air substantially over an entire width of the side-view mirror to clear any water adhering to the reflective surface of the mirror.

    摘要: A system and method are provided for closed-loop monitoring of temperature within a vehicle emission control device to control air-fuel ratio (AFR) and corresponding production of exotherm to accurately maintain a desired temperature range. A temperature sensor is positioned within the emission control device to provide a direct measurement of temperature within the device. Inlet temperature can be either directly measured or estimated using a temperature model. Actual temperature within the device is estimated as a function of the inlet and measured temperatures. The estimated actual temperature is used to modify the AFR in the exhaust gases flowing through the emission control device.

    摘要: A card edge connector includes an elongated longitudinally extending outer frame defining a reception region adapted to receive a plurality of chiclet modules including contact members and lying in parallel laterally extending planes which, as an assembly, are positioned to connectively engage with mating contacts. Each chiclet module includes an insulative housing having first and second spaced generally parallel elongated passages therein and a card receiving recess for reception therein between the first and second passages of a planar card having opposed surfaces with conductive contact members thereon. First and second contacts are received, respectively, in the first and second passages. Each has a first contact surface positioned, respectively, for engagement with first and second of the mating contacts. The card receiving recesses of the chiclet modules as a group define a longitudinally extending card receiving slot. The contacts each include a second contact surface projecting into the card receiving slot for engagement, respectively, with second conductive contact members on the planar card. A tubular ground shield may be slidably received on the insulative housing in proximate engagement with its outer peripheral surface. In this instance, the ground shield includes a first integral ground contact for engagement with a ground contact of an external unit associated with the mating contacts engaged by the first contact surfaces of the first and second contacts and a second integral ground contact for engagement with a ground contact surface on the planar card inserted into the card receiving slot.
