摘要: In order to suppress a peak of an excessive current and suppress a variation in a resonance voltage of a resonator, which are likely to occur immediately after a discharge lamp starts lighting, in a case where a high-frequency current continuously flows asymmetrically with respect to a zero current instead of flowing symmetrically on positive and negative sides immediately after the lighting since electrodes of the discharge lamp are not evenly warmed, the resonance voltage and the high-frequency current are finely adjusted in a resonance voltage and high-frequency current setting method including setting a drive frequency of an inverter circuit and varying output from a down-converter.

摘要: A mobile terminal device is provided which can be used without an incongruous feeling. In Step S14, it is determined whether or not the operated application is the second display state (landscape display). When it is determined that the application is not the landscape display, the process is transferred to Step S15, and the key operation functions assigned to the keys b1 to b6 of the “TURN-CLOSE STATE (LENGTHWISE)” of the key assignment table are assigned to the keys b1 to b6. In Step S14, when it is determined that the operated application is the landscape display, the process is transferred to Step S16, the key operation functions assigned to the keys b1 to b6 of “TURN-CLOSE STATE (WIDTHWISE)” of the key assignment table are assigned to the keys b1 to b6, and the key operation unit in the turn-close state has the same function as the cross key 15a.

摘要: An electronic ballast is provided for improved startup and powering of a high pressure discharge lamp. The ballast includes an inverter, a starting circuit for generating a high voltage to ignite the lamp, a controller for controlling an operating frequency of the inverter from startup to steady-state lamp operation, and a lamp output detection circuit. The controller controls the inverter in association with one or more of a first phase in which the starting circuit generates the high voltage and causes dielectric breakdown between the lamp electrodes, a second phase in which an electrode heating operation is performed after dielectric breakdown and a third phase in which steady-state operation of the lamp is performed. A lamp output determination is performed at a predetermined time before shifting to the third phase, and upon determining that the lamp is ignited the second phase is inserted.

摘要: An anode non-circulation type fuel cell sets an anode upper limit pressure and an anode lower limit pressure, and sets an anode pressure increase rate based on at least a detected temperature of a fuel cell. The system controls the supply of an anode gas to the fuel cell so as to repeat pressure increase and pressure decrease. The pressure increase is conducted by supplying the anode gas to the anode upper limit pressure at the anode pressure increase rate. The pressure decrease is conducted by restricting the supply of the anode gas to the anode lower limit pressure. When the detected temperature of the fuel cell is lower than a predetermined temperature, the system sets the anode pressure increase rate at a slower rate than when the temperature of the fuel cell is equal to or higher than the predetermined temperature.

摘要: A Gaussian filter 2 having a first cutoff frequency extracts a low frequency component signal of a video signal. A subtracter 3 extracts a high frequency component signal by subtracting the low frequency component signal from the video signal. A low pass filter 5 having a second cutoff frequency higher than the first cutoff frequency extracts a lower high frequency component signal, which is a low-frequency-side signal of the high frequency component signal. A multiplier 6 generates a corrected component signal by multiplying the lower high frequency component signal by a predetermined gain G1. An adder 7 adds the corrected component signal to the video signal.

摘要: The present invention provides a hybrid integrated optical module having a high coupling efficiency by suppressing a connection loss between waveguides. A hybrid integrated optical module according to an embodiment of the present invention is an optical module which integrates a semiconductor chip and a PLC chip. The semiconductor chip has a semiconductor waveguide and is mounted on a Si bench. The PLC chip includes a PLC substrate and an optical waveguide formed on the PLC substrate. An end face of the semiconductor chip protrudes from an end face of the Si bench toward the PLC chip side by a protrusion amount X. Gap adjustment (adjustment of a distance D) between the semiconductor waveguide and the optical waveguide becomes possible by setting a position where the end face of the semiconductor chip is brought into contact with an end face of the PLC chip to be a reference position (zero point).

摘要: A fuel cell system is described that enables discharge of moisture generated by the fuel cell system based on pressure differences between components of the fuel cell system. The fuel cell system includes a fuel cell that discharges oxidant offgas via a cathode discharge pipe and discharges fuel offgas and moisture to an anode drain opening that in turn discharges the fuel offgas and the moisture to a gas-liquid separator via an anode drainpipe. A throttle valve establishes a pressure difference downstream within the anode drainpipe to enable movement of the fuel offgas and the moisture from the anode drain opening to a lower pressure area of the gas-liquid separator. In addition, the pressure difference enables the fuel offgas to flow from the gas-liquid separator to the cathode discharge pipe through the throttle valve.
