    摘要: A backlight unit having a polarization film for performing the function of a reflective polarization film, wherein the backlight unit includes a light source, an optical film and a polarization film. The light source emits a light having a certain wavelength, the optical film is located proximate to the light source to transmit the light outputted from the light guiding plate in a certain direction, and the polarization film is located proximate to the optical film. Here, the polarization film has a UV curing resin and lines disposed on the UV curing resin, and polarizes the light transmitted from the optical film. The backlight unit manufactures the polarization film by using an UV curing resin and a metal substance, and thus the manufacture period of the polarization film may be reduced enabling the polarization film to be manufactured in great quantities.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a light guide whose one or both sides are structured, a method and an apparatus for manufacturing the same. The present invention is also directed to an illuminating system using the light guide whose one or both sides are structured. The illuminating system comprises a light source part including a light source generating a light and an optical guide optically connected with the light source part for emitting a light inputted from the light source part to outside. The prism sheet according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a coating layer having a resin transmitting the incident light from the outside; and a plurality of beads contained in the resin and scattering the incident light; a base film disposed on the coating layer and transmitting the light; and a plurality of prisms disposed on the base film, and refracting and condensing the light transmitted from the base film. The prism sheet of the present invention may not be deformed even if the temperature of the backlight unit is increased.
