摘要： The present invention provides a transparency antistatic multilayer sheet prepared by extrusion sheet molding that is favorable in appearance and retains its antistatic action consistently, and a production method of producing a thick antistatic multilayer sheet reliably by extrusion sheet molding, while preventing generation of contamination of the polishing roll surface and also damage of the sheet appearance. Specifically, it relates to an antistatic multilayer sheet, comprising coat layers constituted of a transparent resin A, said coat layers substantively do not contain a polymeric antistatic agent, and at least one antistatic layer constituted of a transparent resin B and a polymeric antistatic agent, wherein the antistatic layer is in contact with the inside of the coat layer and the coat layers are placed on the outermost faces of the multilayer sheet, wherein the multilayer sheet has a distinctness of image of 60% or higher and an initial electrostatic potential in electrostatic half-life measurement of 2.5 kV or lower, and a production method thereof.

摘要： A method for forming protective layer on a surface portion surrounding the edge of a central aperture of a flexible magnetic disc sheet is described, comprising providing a radiation polymerizable composition on a surface portion surrounding the edge of the central aperture of the flexible magnetic disc sheet by screen printing, and hardening the composition by exposure to radiation; a flexible magnetic disc is also described, wherein a protective layer by the foregoing method is provided, with said protective layer having an inner diameter larger than the diameter of the aperture of the disc sheet and an outer diameter smaller than the diameter of the aperture of a jacket enclosing the disc sheet.

摘要： Input moving pictures are encoded with motion-compensated prediction. Detected first is an mount of codes generated for each encoded picture of the input moving pictures. Detected next is an average quantization scale factor of quantization scale factors used for quantizing the pictures of the input moving pictures when encoded. Also detected is picture characteristics of at least the input moving pictures. Complexity of each picture is calculated in response to the mount of codes generated for each picture, the average quantization scale factor and the picture characteristics. An amount of codes to be allocated to a present picture to be encoded is decided in response to the mount of codes generated for each picture, picture characteristics and the complexity of each picture, for obtaining a quantization scale factor for the present picture.

摘要： A method for preparing a magnetic recording medium which comprises the steps:(a) providing on a non-magnetic support, a thin magnetic metal film,(b) providing on the thin magnetic film, a protective layer comprised substantially of carbon,(c) washing the surface of the protective layer at least once, each washing performed with one substance selected from the group consisting of an alkali detergent, a neutral detergent and an organic solvent, and(d) providing on the surface of the protective layer, a lubricating layer containing at least one organic lubricating agent.Where the magnetic recording mediums produced therefrom exhibit excellent lubricating properties and running durability and causes no attachments on a magnetic head. Magnetic disks produced from the magnetic recording mediums also exhibit excellent lubricating properties and running durability and also do not cause attachments on a magnetic head.
