摘要: Described herein are iron golf club heads and sets of iron golf clubs that have variable weight distribution. Each iron golf club head has a cavity and a y-shaped cavity pad disposed on at least a portion of a back wall of the cavity. The y-shaped cavity pad provide reduced vibrations within the cavity when the iron golf club head strikes a golf ball. The y-shaped cavity pad also provides an enlarged sweet spot to provide increased forgiveness for off-center hits. Other aspects, features, and embodiments are also claimed and described.

摘要: A golf club attaining good hitting feeling is provided by realizing uniform distribution of grain flows in a face portion. The golf club includes a golf head including a face portion with a ball hitting surface and a neck portion connecting the face portion to a shaft. Grain flows are formed in the golf head, and density of grain flows inside the golf head is made comparable to density of grain flows at a surface layer portion.

摘要: An apparatus for reducing periodical noises transmitted from a noise source into a vehicle passenger compartment. The apparatus comprises control sound sources for producing control sounds in the vehicle passenger compartment, residual noise sensors for detecting the residual noises in the vehicle passenger compartment, transfer function filters modeled on transfer function between the control sound sources and the residual noise sensors, and adaptive digital filters having variable filter coefficients. A reference signal is produced in the form of a series of impulses having the same period as the noises. The transfer function filters are convoluted with the reference signal to produce reference processed signals. The adaptive digital filters are convoluted with the reference signal to generate drive signals to drive the control sound sources. The filter coefficients of the respective adaptive digital filters are updated based on the processed reference signals and the residual noises to reduce the noises in the vehicle passenger compartment.

摘要: An ERF (electrorheopectic fluid) filled engine mount has a main working chamber and first and second auxiliary chambers. An orifice passage structure provides fluid communication between the main and first auxiliary chambers. A first set of electrode plates are disposed in the orifice passage structure in a manner which permits the viscosity of the ERF to be selectively controlled. The first auxiliary chamber exhibits a relatively small expansive spring characteristic. A transfer port provides fluid communication between the main working chamber and the second auxiliary chamber. The second auxiliary chamber exhibits a relatively large expansive spring characteristic and functions to attenuate relatively high frequency vibration. An on/off type valve device is disposed in the transfer port.

摘要: An ERF filled engine mount includes a main working chamber and first and second auxiliary chambers. Orifice passages in which electrodes are disposed, fluidly connect the main working chamber with the first auxiliary chamber. A gutter is defined by a casing in which a movable member is disposed. This member is arranged to be moved (vibrated) by the pressure changes which occur in the main working chamber when the mount is subject to vibration which tend to cause cabin reverberation noise. An electrode is mounted on an electrically non-conductive portion of the casing structure and arranged to cooperate with a conductive portion thereof. This electrodes has a voltage impressed thereon during engine idle and shake modes and is de-energized when the reverberation noise inducing frequency is approached.
