    摘要: A treatment unit includes: a communication part that receives through a communication cable information about a root canal length acquired by a root canal length measuring unit as an external diagnostic unit; a display device on which the information about a root canal length is displayed; and a treatment unit body to which a file for root canal enlargement is attached. The treatment unit body forms a holding part held by a user. The display device is provided on the outer circumference of the holding part. The user can visually recognize a root canal length displayed on the display device while performing root canal enlargement with the treatment unit held by the user.

    摘要: The present invention provides an X-ray tomographic imaging apparatus, wherein image degrading components caused by a CCD sensor (3c) or the like are reduced so as to obtain high-quality X-ray images. After tomographic imaging, dark current noise is eliminated by subtracting dark current correction data from a specific line of data among image data stored in an image memory. Next, sensitivity correction coefficients are prepared on the basis of data obtained when an X-ray beam having nearly uniform intensity distribution enters an X-ray imaging device 3. The image data obtained after dark current correction is then multiplied by the sensitivity correction coefficients. As a result, noise due to sensitivity variations or the like can be eliminated.

    摘要: The periodontal pocket measurement apparatus of the present invention comprises a main handpiece unit provided with a cover member for covering the front end portion thereof, an operation member mounted at the front end of the cover member and being slidable in the longitudinal direction of the cover member, a flexible sleeve attached to the operation member and projecting from the front end of the cover member, and a probe attached to the cover member, passing through the sleeve and being exposable at its tip from the tip of the sleeve, being characterized in that the main handpiece unit is provided with energizing means for pushing a movable portion including the operation member and the sleeve toward the front end. With this structure, operation can be made easily when measuring the depth of a periodontal pocket of a patient by detecting the positional difference between the tip of the probe and the tip of the sleeve when the tip of the probe is inserted into the bottom portion of the periodontal pocket and the tip of the sleeve is made contact with the upper fringe of the gingiva.
