    摘要: The MPEG2TS packet S3 as the digital broadcast data is obtained from the ECC decoder. The NIT detecting circuit detects NIT from this packet S3, changes the transmitting frequency information and deletes the information (service information) of the program to be limited for viewing, thereby to obtain the table NITb. The NIT replacing circuit detects NIT from the packet S3 and replaces it to the table NITb, thereby to obtain the MPEG2TS packet S4 as the digital broadcast data in CATV. The digital broadcast signal BS1 for CATV can be obtained by executing the error correction code adding process, modulating process and frequency-converting process to the packet S4. The receiving apparatus for receiving the predetermined program on the basis of the program information of NIT can no longer receive the program in relation to the program information deleted by NIT.

    摘要: A screen control apparatus and a screen control method enabling an operator to instruct a display apparatus both of a type and an amount of processing in an intuitive and an easy way by voice to provide good human interfacing. The screen control apparatus comprises a sound input means for receiving voice instruction on a screen and generating a sound signal, a sound recognition means for recognizing sound signal, a sound continuation detection means for detecting the sound continuation of the sound signal, and a screen processing means for processing said picture on the screen in accordance with the recognized sound signal for a time of the detected sound continuation. The screen control method includes the steps of receiving voice for instructing a processing a picture on a screen and generating a sound signal, extracting a sound feature of the sound signal, discriminating the sound signal in accordance with the extracted sound feature to generate a recognized sound signal, detecting the sound continuation of the sound signal, and processing displayed picture on the screen in accordance with said recognized sound signal by a time of said detected sound continuation.

    摘要: A converter for converting circularly polarized waves in a round waveguide into linearly polarized waves in a rectangular waveguide has two probes and a transmission line pattern all of which are formed of metal foil on a thin dielectric film board. The board is flexible and extends across the open ends of the two waveguides. The first probe has a square shape and the transmission line has two conductor arms connected to adjacent sides of the square. The other ends of the conductor arms are connected to the second probe with an impedance matching resistor formed on the film board between the two arms. One conductor arm is one-quarter wavelength longer than the other to convert from circularly polarized waveguide transmission to microstrip transmission.

    摘要: A suspended line feed type planar antenna is arranged with a number of antenna elements formed on a film-shaped substrate, and the film-shaped substrate is sandwiched between a plastic radome and a plastic rear cover, a conductive surface is plated on the rear surface of the plastic radome at its portion except the portions opposing the antenna elements and/or a conductive surface is plated on the whole front surface of the rear cover. The conductive surfaces and the antenna elements constitute resonance type printed path radiators, whereby the planar antenna of the invention can be simplified in construction and reduced in cost, thickness and weight, and the planar antenna of the invention can be increased in productivity and reliability.

    摘要: A light source apparatus excites an electrodeless lamp bulb with energy of microwaves generated from a magnetron. A microwave transmission line is improved so that microwaves can be transmitted efficiently and the light source apparatus can be miniaturized. A first cylindrical member is disposed coaxially with a direction in which microwaves generated from the magnetron are transmitted, and a second cylindrical member is disposed at the center of the first cylindrical member, thereby forming a coaxial transmission line. A coaxial oscillator is formed from the position at which the microwaves are generated to a position of 1/4 of the wavelength of the microwave. Thus, a special waveguide can be removed.

    摘要: A polarization separator for separating orthogonal polarization waves into a horizontal polarization wave component and a vertical polarization wave component is minimized in size. A metal pole in the form of a thin metal bar is disposed in a circular waveguide of a waveguide member into which the orthogonal polarization waves are introduced, and reflects the horizontal polarization wave component so that it is outputted through an output terminal formed in a circumferential wall of the waveguide member. Meanwhile, the vertical polarization wave component propagates in a substantially rectangular waveguide provided rearwardly of the metal pole and is outputted from another output terminal. Since the rectangular waveguide is formed in a cutoff structure for the horizontal polarization wave component, the reflection means can be formed from the metal pole in the form of a thin bar, and consequently, the polarization separator can be minimized.

    摘要: This invention relates to an information delivery system and method, an information transmission apparatus and method, and an information receiving apparatus and method for delivering a digital multi-channel service signal through a satellite and a cable network. A QPSK demodulation circuit demodulates an inputted TS and outputs it to an error correction circuit. The error correction circuit corrects the inputted signal and outputs it to a network information (NIT) conversion circuit. The NIT conversion circuit replaces the NIT for CS waves with NIT for cable TV and outputs it to a QAM demodulation circuit. The QAM demodulation circuit demodulates the inputted signal and pouts it to a frequency conversion circuit. The frequency conversion circuit converts the frequency of the inputted signal into a predetermined value and outputs the signal to a signal mixer.
