    摘要: A bladder arrangement is provided for a microneedle-based drug delivery device. The bladder arrangement includes a flexible membrane having an inner surface, an outer surface and an outer periphery. A bladder member, having a rigidity greater than the flexible membrane, includes an inner surface, an outer surface and an outer periphery. The inner surface of the flexible membrane and the inner surface of the bladder member define a chamber for receiving a drug therein. At least one microneedle is operatively connected to the bladder member. The at least one microneedle has an input and an output receivable within the individual. A valve operatively connects the input of the at least one microneedle and the chamber.

    摘要: A drug delivery device for delivering a drug to a subject is provided. The drug delivery device includes a housing, a drug reservoir supported by the housing containing the drug and a hollow microneedle supported by the housing. The hollow microneedle is moveable from an inactive position to an activated position, wherein, when the hollow microneedle is moved to the activated position, the tip portion of the hollow microneedle is configured to penetrate the skin of the subject. The drug delivery device includes a channel having an input in communication with the drug reservoir and an output in communication with the hollow microneedle. The channel provides fluid communication between the drug reservoir and the hollow microneedle, such that the drug is permitted to flow from the drug reservoir through the channel and through the hollow microneedle. The channel moves from a first position to a second position as the hollow microneedle moves from the inactive position to the activated position, and the position of the drug reservoir relative to the housing remains fixed as the hollow microneedle moves from the inactive position to the activated position.

An actuator automatically moves the main carriage between open and closed positions to engage the fluid delivery device to the seat. The actuator is connected to the main carriage by a rear carriage assembly having a manual release element for disengaging the actuator from rear carriage assembly and thereby from the main carriage. The first relay is connectable to the boiler such that the boiler is turned on when the first relay is energized. The second relay is connectable to a plurality of zone valves controlling the flow of high temperature water from the boiler to a plurality of space heaters such that the plurality of zone valves are turned off when the second relay is energized, thereby diverting a substantial portion of the output of the boiler to the water heater when the water temperature switch is closed.
