    摘要: A shelf-stable, one-component, water-dispersed, film-forming, thermoset resin composition, which composition is also solvent free, formaldehyde-free, and latex compatible, is disclosed. The resin is a latex dispersion formed by emulsion polymerization of monomer mixtures including one or more carboxylic acid-containing monomers and hydroxyl-containing monomers, and ideally including monomers such as styrene, butadiene, and/or acetonitrile. Monomers such as (meth)acrylates or (meth)acrylamides may be substantially absent, to avoid off-gassing volatile organic compounds when the composition is cured. The compositions can be used, for example, to prepare reinforced glass mats, insulation, and roofing shingles, used in thermosetting paper applications, or can be dried, melted and shaped at a temperature below the cure temperature, and then cured at the cure temperature. The glass transition temperatures of the polymers in the compositions can be varied over a wide range by varying the monomer composition.

    摘要: A bracket for attachment to an upright scaffolding member has a rigid body with a front hook and rear hook thereon for engaging opposing front and rear faces of the upright scaffolding member. A support arm projects horizontally forward from the rigid body beyond the front hook for supporting an auxiliary platform thereon. A retainer member is movable on the body between an unlocked position in which an area between the hooks for receiving the upright scaffolding member therein is unobstructed and a locked position for engaging the upright scaffolding member in which the retainer member is immovable in the direction of engagement of the retainer member with the upright scaffolding member to prevent accidental release thereof.

    摘要: The present invention is directed toward a vial-loading mechanism for a system that prepares and delivers one or more IV drugs to a patient. The vial-loading mechanism is used to load a vial onto a cassette spike and includes a vertical support member located adjacent to the spike. A holding assembly holds at least one vial. The holding assembly is mounted to the support member so as to be positionable between an upper position for loading a vial and a lower position for piercing the vial with a spike. The holding assembly has an arcuate-shaped holding member for holding the vial. A catch is provided with an engagement unit for securing the holding assembly in the lower position. This arrangement provides an easy way to add, retain, and remove vials from the system and protects the clinicians that do this from contacting the spikes and hurting themselves.
