    Abstract: A segmented wall system includes a first course extending in a first direction and comprising a first wall block and a second wall block. A rear side of the first wall block is connected to a first side of a first tail block and a rear side of the second wall block is connected to a first side of a second tail block. The segmented wall system further includes a second course stacked on the first course. The second course includes a third wall block having a rear side connected to a first side of a third tail block. The rear side of the third tail block has a width in the first direction that is equal to or greater than a width in the first direction of the rear side of the third wall block.

The sides of the first and second pairs of sides have two or more straight line segments or complex curves, and are not a single straight line or a single curve. One pair of sides has a length different from the other pair of sides. The surface covering has a natural appearance such that a repeating pattern is not readily apparent.

    Abstract: A building unit has a substantially planar base having an outer periphery including multiple mating sides. Each mating side has at least one “S”-connection, which includes at least one outwardly extending male mating section and at least one inwardly extending adjacent female section. On the base, there are multiple cobbles or raised regions separated by false joints. A first portion of the raised regions are positioned on the male mating sections, respectively and extend to positions proximate to the outer periphery of the base. A second portion of the raised regions are positioned adjacent the female mating sections, respectively and are set back from the outer periphery. Each side of one unit can mate with any side of another like unit. The arrangement results in a surface covering that lacks a discernible pattern.

The outer contour surface is irregularly shaped. The major axis and the minor axis are generally perpendicular to each other. Each mating side is a centered rotation about the respective axis that the mating side intersects with.

    Abstract: A wall system includes a plurality of landscaping blocks, each comprising a front portion, a back portion, and first and second sidewall portions extending between the front portion and the back portion. An opening is provided, with a perimeter defined along inner surfaces of the front, back and first and second sidewall portions, respectively, and a lug process extends from each of the first and second sidewall portions. A first course can be assembled from a first number of the landscaping blocks, and a second course can be assembled from a second number of the landscaping blocks, stacked vertically with respect to the first course. So that the lug processes extending from the first and second sidewall portions of a landscaping block in the first course engage different openings in an adjacent pair of landscaping blocks in the second course.
