    摘要: The aim of the invention is to improve the electrical and mechanical properties of a litz wire conductor (1) for coils of electric machines. For this purpose, the interstices between the filaments (3) of a conductor (1) are filled with an elastic potting compound (4). In order to allow for more regular marginal field intensities in the circumferential area, the potting compound (4) can be electrically conducting. For filling the interstices, the individual filaments (3) can also be provided with a coating which accelerates curing of the steeping agent.

    摘要: A melt spinning apparatus for extruding and spinning thermoplastic filaments as part of the fabrication of a multi-filament yarn. The apparatus includes a plurality of spinning units arranged in a row in a gas tight heated container, and each spinning unit comprises upper and lower coaxial pipes which are interconnected by means of a common supporting plate. The melt metering pump and the spinneret assembly are mounted within the pipes. A method of fabricating the apparatus is also disclosed.

    摘要: A sealing device comprises a slide ring and a counterring having sealing surfaces, the slide ring and counterring contacting one another under axial prestressing in a sealing manner and capable of rotating relative to one another, the counterring and a substantially L-shaped engaging ring being interconnected, the engaging ring being affixed to a shaft to be sealed, and the counterring and the engaging ring being sealed relatively to each other by a sealing ring. The counterring contacts a radial segment of the engaging ring and surrounds an axial segment with radial clearance, and the sealing ring is sealingly arranged, under elastic prestressing, in the gap formed by the clearance. The counterring has an inner peripheral surface which forms an angle .alpha. of about 0.5.degree. to about 60.degree. with an axis of rotation, and the radial clearance in which the sealing ring is arranged is greater on the side facing the radial segment of the engaging ring than on the side facing the slide ring.

    摘要: A double-belt system for processing viscous melts includes a driven upper belt having a lower working run, and a driven lower belt having an upper working run spaced beneath the lower working run to form a gap therewith for receiving a viscous melt. A gap-adjusting mechanism includes upper rollers engaging an upper surface of the lower working run, and lower rollers engaging a lower surface of the upper working run. A distance between the upper rollers and lower rollers is adjustable to vary a size of the gap. A compensation mechanism is disposed over the lower working run to apply an upward force thereto for pulling the lower working run against the upper rollers, thereby resisting sagging of the lower working run. At least one delivery mechanism applies a temperature-controlled liquid across an entire width of the lower working run for controlling a temperature thereof. The liquid is extracted by an extraction mechanism disposed downstream of the delivery mechanism. Vertically adjustable stops are provided for determining a vertical position of respective ones of the upper rollers.

    摘要: A device for measuring the flow of a fluid through a measuring pipe, includes a first coil arranged above the measuring pipe, a second coil arranged below the measuring pipe, and a pair of electrodes facing one another, on the sides of said measuring pipe. The coils are excitable and produce both aiding and opposing magnetic fields. A correction circuit corrects the voltage (U.sub.r) between the electrodes. The corrected voltage is approximately proportional to the fluid flow in the presence of aiding magnetic fields when the measuring pipe is partially filled. The correction circuit provides correction to an output signal (S) corresponding to the flow of the fluid when the measuring pipe is partially filled by means of a correction function to a corrected voltage (U.sub.t) which depends on the voltages (U.sub.r, U.sub.g) between the electrodes in the presence of aiding and opposing magnetic fields. The correction function is accomplished by employing a detecting electrode which is arranged at the top of the measuring pipe for detecting complete filling of the measuring pipe. The potential generated by the detecting electrode controls a circuit such that when the measuring pipe is completely filled, the circuit generates voltage (U.sub.r) corresponding to the aiding magnetic fields as an output signal (S), and when the measuring pipe is partly filled, the circuit generate the corrected voltage (U.sub.t) as an output signal (S).
