摘要: A holding device is provided for holding articles within an interior space of a motor vehicle, that includes, but is not limited to a container box with a closable lid element. The container box can be fastened in a rail system arranged in a center console of the motor vehicle. This makes possible to make available a holding device for the holding of articles within an interior space of a motor vehicle, which makes possible safe holding of articles of consumption, more preferably of larger articles of consumption, and in addition can be comfortably reached by all vehicle occupants of the motor vehicle.

摘要: The present invention reduces the need for peripherals to be physically removed and re-installed when a malfunction occurs. In one embodiment, a device is placed in series between the system and the peripheral. This device controls the passage of power to the peripheral. When the peripheral malfunctions, the device disallows passage of power to the peripheral, and at some later point restores power, effectively emulating a physical removal and re-installation. In a second embodiment, additional software is added to the software driver for the peripheral. In this scenario, the additional software, upon detecting that the peripheral is incommunicative, would remove power being supplied to the peripheral by the system. Again, at some later point, power is restored, thereby emulating a disconnect/reconnect sequence.

摘要: A system and method for creating digital content from a plurality of legacy media formats, such as paper, CD, VHS, DVD, etc. A coordination node is utilized to balance the computation load between the various processing units, particularly those involved in the second stage of operation. Extraction units are used to input various types of information into the system as digital media. Once the information has been extracted, the coordination node and its associated software determine the load on each processing unit in the second stage and based on this and other factors, determine which processing unit will perform the conversion. The output is then stored in storage devices. This approach maximizes system utilization, while being more cost efficient than traditional extraction systems.

摘要: A motor vehicle is provided with a rail system having a cover device for a rail system resembling a Roman blind, with several interconnected, telescoping, lamellar segments, which laterally at least partially exhibit guide elements for engaging guide grooves of the rail system. The guide elements are at least partially variable in length, so that an overall width of the cover device transverse to the progression of the guide grooves can be diminished for removal and insertion from and in the rail system.

摘要: A folding table is provided for a vehicle. The folding table includes, but is not limited to a tabletop that can be fastened to a vehicle seat so that it can be pivoted from a pivoted-in non-usage position into a pivoted-out usage position. At substantially the same time, at least one connection point is provided at which accessory parts can be detachably fastened.
