    摘要: A method for detection of contamination, by another fluid, of the oil circuit of a turbomachine fitted on an aircraft, the oil circuit including a tank provided with a device for measuring its oil level, piping which connects the tank to the various units of the turbomachine to be lubricated, and a device for putting the oil into circulation between the tank and the units, the turbomachine including a device for measuring its engine speed and a device for measuring the temperature of the oil at one point at least of the oil circuit. The oil level in the tank is monitored, an alert is triggered if the decrease in the oil level, measured over a given interval of time, becomes lower than a set minimum decrease. The decrease can be replaced by a simple increase in the oil level, without taking a duration of the monitoring into account.

    摘要: An improved process to enhance polyurethane foam performance is described. Polyurethane foam is prepared by reactions between a polyisocyanate and a polyfunctional isocyanate-reactive component wherein said reactions are conducted in the presence of catalysts composed of (a) a specific reactive tertiary amine compound selected from the group consisting of bis(dimethylaminopropyl)amino-2-propanol, bis(dimethylaminopropyl)amine, dimethylaminopropyldipropanolamine, bis(dimethylamino)-2-propanol, N,N,N′-trimethyl-N′-hydroxyethyl-bis(aminoethyl)ether and mixtures thereof; and (b) at least one carboxylic acid salt of the specific reactive tertiary amine compound selected from the group consisting of hydroxy-carboxylic acid salts and halo-carboxylic acid salts.

    摘要: A magnetic field is produced by way of an emitter placed close to the surface of a product to be controlled and a receiver separate from the emitter is placed, with respect to said emitter, on the one hand, in such a way as to be aligned with the emitter in a direction corresponding to the general orientation of the defects to be detected on the surface of the product, and on the other hand, so as to avoid any substantial direct influence from the eddy currents generated by the emitter when the product surface is defect-free, so that a significant signal is only picked up by the receiver in the case of a deviation of said eddy currents in its direction due to a discontinuity in the surface of the product. The invention finds an application in the detection of surface defects in semi-finished metallurgical products and in particular continuously cast steel products.

    摘要: A method of estimating an asymmetrical scatter signal distribution wherein asymmetry is introduced by angular incidence of radiation, which has been emitted from a source and transmitted through an object to be imaged, on a detector, is disclosed. This method includes, in an embodiment, modifying scatter that would be derived wherein the radiation is directly incident on the detector with zero degrees of inclination, using an asymmetry factor which indicates the shape and magnitude of the scatter signal distribution and which varies with an angle at which the radiation is incident on the detector, a mean attenuation coefficient of the object, and a distance the radiation has traveled through the object. The estimated scatter provides for correction of scatter in a image.

    摘要: An improved process to enhance polyurethane foam performance is described. Polyurethane foam is prepared by reactions between a polyisocyanate and an active hydrogen-containing component wherein said reactions are conducted in the presence of catalysts composed of (a) at least one specific tertiary amine carbamate (formed by the reaction of reactive tertiary amine and polyisocyanate) and, optionally, (b) salts formed by the reaction between the specific tertiary amine carbamate(s) and hydroxy- and/or halo-carboxylic acids. The specific tertiary amine carbamates in the subject invention are dimethylaminoethoxyethyl carbamate, bis(dimethylaminopropyl)amino-2-propyl carbamate, dimethylaminoethyl carbamate, and mixtures thereof.
