摘要: Particles, embedded into a sliding layer, have a coating, within which a lubricant, e.g., a liquid, is contained. A component with the sliding layer provides a sliding surface that can be used as a backup bearing to ensure emergency operating properties, for example, of a shaft that is mounted in a main bearing. When the shaft strikes the bearing surface, the coating of the particles that are exposed on the bearing surface are destroyed and the lubricant can exit. Advantageously, the sliding properties of the sliding surface are thereby improved.

摘要: An acquisition member for use in disposable absorbent articles. The acquisition member including a multitude of fibers and a latex binder and having a void volume of at least 7 cubic centimeter per gram in the temperature range from 20° C. to 40° C. The latex binder may be a dispersion of a polymer in an essentially aqueous medium. The polymer is capable of forming a film having a tan δ value at 40° C. that is not greater than its tan δ value at 20° C.

摘要: The invention relates to a surface comprising a microstructure that reduces adhesion and to a method for producing said microstructure. Microstructures of this type that reduce adhesion are known and are used, for example, to configure self-cleaning surfaces that us the Lotus effect. According to the invention, the surface is produced electrochemically by means of reverse pulse plating, the known microstructure being first produced and a nanostructure that is overlaid on the microstructure is produced at the same time or in a subsequent step. To achieve this for example, the pulse length of the current pulse that is used during the reverse pulse plating lies in the millisecond range and has a pulse length ratio greater than 1:3. The microstructure that has been produced, consisting of peaks and troughs is then overlaid with peaks and troughs of a smaller size order belonging to the nanostructure.

摘要: The invention relates to a component that is suitable for use as a sliding bearing. The invention further relates to a method for the production of said component. The design of the component according to the invention provides a layer of a light metal material (13), which is provided with an oxide layer (15) containing pores (16) in the direction of the sliding surface (23) of the component. A hard material (18) is placed in the pores, which greatly increases the firmness of said layer region, thus creating the mechanical firmness for use as a sliding bearing. In order to counteract the tendency of said firm layer region to experience brittle failure, the oxide layer (15) is coated with a solid lubricant layer (20). Said solid lubricant layer comprises a metallic, ductile matrix (21), which distributes a force (F) acting at certain points over a larger surface region (b). In order to improve the sliding characteristics, particles of a solid lubricant (22) are simultaneously embedded in the solid lubricant layer (20).
