Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for connecting a power semi-conductor chip having upper-sided potential surfaces to thick wires or strips, consisting of the following steps: Providing a metal molded body corresponding to the shape of the upper-sided potential surfaces, applying a connecting layer to the upper-sided potential surfaces or to the metal molded bodies, and applying the metal molded bodies and adding a material fit, electrically conductive compound to the potential surfaces prior to the joining of the thick wire bonds to the non-added upper side of the molded body.
Abstract:
Method, comprising authenticating one or more first clients by a server, authenticating one or more second clients by the server and providing at least one application data unit switching by the server such that, when a data packet having a control application data unit is received from one of the first clients at the server, the server sends a data packet having the control application data unit that the received data packet contains to at least one of the second clients, and/or that, when a data packet having a response application data unit is received from one of the second clients at the server, the server sends a data packet having the response application data unit that the received data packet contains to at least one of the first clients.
Abstract:
An exhaust-gas turbocharger (1), having a shaft (2) on which a compressor wheel (3) and a turbine wheel (4) are arranged, and a bearing housing (5) which has a turbine-side radial bearing bush (6) and which has an oil collecting chamber (7) arranged between the turbine-side radial bearing bush (6) and a turbine-side bearing housing end region (8). The shaft (2) has a shoulder (9) which extends outward in the radial direction (R) into the oil collecting chamber (7) and, together with a radial-bearing-side first delimiting wall (10) of the oil collecting chamber (7), delimits a gap (11).
Abstract:
A rotating member of a printing press is typically a cylinder that is provided with a circumferential area. A securement channel or a flow channel, which is at least partly open toward the circumferential area of the cylinder, is formed in the cylinder. A profiled member, which at least partly covers the securement channel or flow channel, with respect to its circumferential area, is inserted into the cylinder to form an integrated joint with the cylinder.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the establishing of a connection between steam generator heating surfaces made of austenitic materials and a collector and/or distributor made of martensitic or ferritic materials or of a nickel-base alloy. In order to extend the expectation of serviceable life of the connection, the pipe nipple of the reservoir used as a collector or distributor is made of a nickel-base alloy and directly welded to the collector wall in such a manner that an axial gap remains between the connecting branch and the collector wall. In a connection of the aforementioned type between steam generator heating surfaces made of austenitic materials and the pipe nipple or the pipe nipple and the collector made of martensitic materials, the coefficient of expansion of the material of the pipe nipple has a particularly good effect upon the serviceable life of the entire connection.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for supporting and oscillating a continuous casting mold (1) for continuously casting molten metals, particularly molten metal materials, comprising: guide elements (4) symmetrically arranged on both sides of the central longitudinal axis (2) of the casting; fixed supporting parts (5), and; a continuous casting mold (1) supported on paired oscillating devices (6). The inventive device facilitates the accessibility to individual modules for maintaining and/or eliminating damages. To this end, a module (7) that, itself, can be removed, is formed from paired bearing blocks (9) with guide elements (4) and with a supporting casing (7a) connected to said bearing blocks. The module is placed upon a stationary submodule (7b) and detachably connected thereto.
Abstract:
A device for the continuous casting of metals, especially steel material, to elongated products in a multistrand casting apparatus with a plurality of continuous casting molds which are oscillatingly driven in an oscillating frame (2) by means of leaf springs (4) whereby the leaf springs (4) extend transversely to the casting direction (1) and serve for guide and weight compensation. The smallest possible strand spacing “A” is provided for that on a longitudinal foundation frame (5) to housings (6a) in the form of compact flat cassettes (6) are secured one behind the other in the strand travel direction. In the housings upper and lower leaf spring pairs (4a; 4b) run transversely to the cast strands (3) and the oscillating strands (11) engage the leaf spring pairs (4a; 4b), whereby a front oscillating drive (11a) works synchronously with the rear oscillating drive (11b).
Abstract:
In a locking mechanism for a vehicle seat, in particular an automobile seat with a lower member, an upper member supported by the lower member, and at least one locking element extending between the upper member and the lower member in a guideway, the guideway simultaneously forms a bearing for supporting the lower member and upper member.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed for producing a single stranded polydeoxynucleotide having two segments that are non-contiguous and complementary with each other. The method comprises the steps of providing in combination (1) a polynucleotide having two non-contiguous, non-complementary nucleotide sequences S1 and S2 wherein S2 is 5' of S1 and is at least ten deoxynucleotides long and (2) an extender probe comprised of two deoxynucleotide sequences, wherein the sequence at the 3'-end of the extender probe is hybridizable with S1 and the other of the deoxynucleotide sequences is homologous to S2 and (b) extending the extender probe along the polynucleotide. The method can also comprise providing in the combination a polydoxynucleotide primer capable of hybridizing at least at its 3'-end with a nucleotide sequence complementary to S2 under conditions where (1) the extended extender probe is rendered single stranded, (2) the polydeoxynucleotide primer hybridizes with and is extended along the extended extender probe to form a duplex comprising extended primer, (3) the extended primer is dissociated from the duplex, and (4) the primer hybridizes with and is extended along the extended primer to form a duplex comprising extended primer, and repeating steps (3) and (4). The method finds particular application in the detection of polynucleotide analytes.
Abstract:
This invention is to a method for detecting an amphiphilic antigen in a biological sample suspected of containing the amphiphilic antigen, which method comprises providing in combination a hydrophilic solid support modified to have a hydrophobic surface and an assay medium suspected of containing an amphiphilic antigen, incubating the combination under conditions sufficient for the amphiphilic antigen to bind to the hydrophobic surface, and determining the presence or amount of the amphiphilic antigen bound to the hydrophobic surface.
