    摘要: A differential device includes a differential casing 15 having a cylindrical part 3, first and second sidewalls 5, 7 formed on both sides of the cylindrical part 3 and a flange part 13 formed on the outer circumference of the first sidewall 5, a differential mechanism 23 having a differential member 17 to which a driving force is transmitted from the differential casing 15 and first and second output members 19, 21 both engaged with the differential member 17 to distribute the driving force, a diff lock mechanism 29 having a clutch member 25 rotatable integrally with the first sidewall 5 and connectable with the first output member 19 by a relative movement of the clutch member 25 to the first sidewall 5 in the axial direction of the cylindrical part 3 and an actuator 27 for moving the clutch member 25 in the axial direction of the cylindrical part 3 and a differential restraint mechanism 33 having a frictional clutch 31 arranged on the side of the second sidewall 7, for restraining a relative rotation of the differential casing 15 to the second output member 21.

    摘要: A differential device differentially distributes a driving force to first and second axles. The differential device is comprised of a differential gear set configured to allow differential motion between the first and second axles, a casing rotatable about an axis, the casing housing and being drivingly coupled with the differential gear set and including a first end wall, a second end wall axially opposed to the first end wall, and a side wall disposed radially outward, which in combination with the first end wall and the second end wall defines a chamber configured to house the differential gear set, a clutch engageable with the differential gear set, a solenoid configured to drive the clutch, which is disposed adjacent to the first end wall, and a magnetic core fixed to the solenoid. The magnetic core is comprised of a sleeve portion snugly and slidably fitting around an outer periphery of the side wall to radially position the core and the solenoid in place.

    摘要: A limited slip differential device has differential gears, a clutch to limit the differential function of the differential gears, and a electromagnetic solenoid including a plunger and a coil. The plunger is set to move forward to engage the clutch by electromagnetic force of the coil in a differential limit state and move backward by a return spring to disengage said clutch in a differential limitless state. The plunger contacts with a contacting member in at least one state of the differential limit state and the differential limitless state, and their contact area is set smaller than a facing area between them in at least the one state.

    摘要: A clutch device 2 has a diff case 19 rotatable with drive torque, side gears 11, 13 to which the drive torque is transferred from the diff case 19, a clutch ring 63 held in constant connection to the diff case 19 and axially movable to the side gears 11, 13 to be intermittently coupled thereto, and an electromagnetic actuator 29 operative to axially move the clutch ring 63. The electromagnetic actuator 29 includes an electromagnetic solenoid 25, and a plunger 27 axially movable in response to magnetic force of the electromagnetic solenoid 25 for axially moving the clutch ring 63. The electromagnetic solenoid 25 is disposed on the diff case 19 so as not to relatively move in an axial direction, and the diff case 19 forms a part of a magnetic flux path of the electromagnetic solenoid 25.

The clutch device is comprised of: a clutch housed in and rotatable with the differential device and axially movable from a disengaged state into an engaged state; a plunger slidably fit on the differential device and being axially movable from a first position where the plunger does not force the clutch to a second position where the plunger forces the clutch into the engaged state; an anti-rotated solenoid configured to drive the plunger; and a retainer supported by the differential device and in contact with both the plunger at the first position and the solenoid, whereby the plunger is barred from going beyond the first position and the solenoid is axially positioned in place.
