Abstract:
A uniaxial eccentric screw pump enabling a stator to be easily separated into an outer cylinder and a lining member, and being capable of solving problems such as a positional shift and deformation of the lining member, and an occurrence of uneven wear and an unstable discharge amount associated with the positional shift and deformation. The stator includes a liner portion having a cylindrical shape and being integrally formed so as to have an inner peripheral surface of an internal thread type and an outer cylinder portion. The liner portion includes, at both end portions thereof, flange portions protruding radially outward, and an outer cylinder mounting portion is provided between the flange portions. The outer cylinder portion is mounted in a non-bonded state on the outer cylinder mounting portion, and both end portions of the outer cylinder portion abut on the flange portions, respectively.
Abstract:
A catheter comprises a tubular body portion (11) including an elongate portion (13) made of a transparent material, and at least one substantially linear contrast-radiography portion (14a, 14b) made of an X-ray opaque material and extending in the longitudinal direction of the elongate portion. The body portion (11) is hollow to allow passage of a liquid therethrough. A majority of the transparent material is composed of an aromatic polyurethane, while the material forming the at least one contrast-radiography portion (14a, 14b) is a mixture composed at least mainly of the X-ray opaque material and an aliphatic polyurethane.
Abstract:
A first cam mechanism 8 is provided between outer portions of opposite surfaces of a rotor 2 and a piston 3. A shaft portion 2c is integrally formed in a central portion of the opposite surface of the rotor 2 opposed to the piston 3. A pair of outwardly projecting portions 9a, 9a are formed in an outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion 2c. A through hole 3a in which the shaft portion 2c is inserted is formed in the piston 3. A pair of inwardly projecting portions 9b, 9b are formed in an inner peripheral surface of the through hole 3a. The outwardly projecting portions 9a, 9a are arranged such that each of the outwardly projecting portions 9a can pass through a gap between the inwardly projecting portions 9b, 9b and the inwardly projecting portions 9b, 9b are arranged such that each of the inwardly projecting portions 9b can pass through a gap between the outwardly projecting portions 9a, 9a. A second cam mechanism 9 is provided between opposite surfaces of the outwardly projecting portion 9a and the inwardly projecting portion 9b opposed to each other when the rotor 2 is rotated through a predetermined angle after the outwardly projecting portion 9a have passed through the gap between the inwardly projecting portions 9b, 9b.
Abstract:
A method of preparing oxoquazepam which comprises reacting 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl trifluoromethanesulfonate with 7-chloro-1,3-dihydro-5-(2-fluorophenyl)-2H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one in tetrahydrofuran or ethyl acetate in the presence of potassium carbonate under reflux. According to the method of the present invention, high purity oxoquazepam can be manufactured in high yields.
Abstract:
A process for preparing 21-desoxyprednisolone 17-esters of formula (IV) is disclosed. ##STR1## The process comprises reacting a prednisolone 17.alpha.,21-cyclic orthoester with an acid in a 40-60% lower alcohol solution to produce a prednisolone 17-ester, sulfonylating the prednisolone 17-ester into a prednisolone 17-ester 21-sulfonate, and reacting the sulfonate with an alkali metal iodide in methyl ethyl ketone in the presence of a lower fatty acid to produce the compound of formula (IV). The process ensures economical industrial production of high purity 21-desoxyprednisolone 17-esters, an excellent local anti-inflammatory medicine, in a high yield by simple procedures.
Abstract:
A polybutadiene rubber composition having an improved green strength is disclosed, which comprises a polybutadiene having a content of cis-1,4 bond of at least 70%, an average chain length of 1,4-bond of 110.about.450 and a molecular weight distribution represented by a ratio of weight-average molecular weight to number-average molecular weight of not less than 5.0.
Abstract:
A surface modifying composition for vulcanized rubber comprises a halogen-releasable halogenoid and a waxy substance having a melting point of not more than 100.degree. C. and is non-solvent type. In the surface modification of vulcanized rubber, the surface coated with the surface modifying composition is heated at 60.degree.-150.degree. C.
Abstract:
Rubber compositions having improved tensile strength, elongation and modulus of unvulcanized rubbers without deteriorating physical properties of vulcanized rubbers are prepared by utilizing synergistic effect of addition of a filler having high reinforcing property and alkadiene sulfones in given amounts to natural rubber and/or dienic synthetic rubbers.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a composition comprising a polybutadiene rubber containing a polymer obtained by block or graft polymerization of cis-1,4-polybutadiene with syndiotactic (syn)-1,2-polybutadiene, alone or blended with the other diene rubber, said syn-1,2-polybutadiene being crystallized and in a short fiber-like shape, and a breaking resistance characteristic and reinforcement characteristic being considerably improved by specifying the diameter and length of said short fiber, which is suitable for various parts of tire or industrial materials, and further relates to a composition of said polybutadiene rubber to which a carbon black is added for preferably used as a chafer or tread of tire, and still further relates to said composition to which a carbon black and an antioxidant are added for preferably used as a rubber blend composition for side wall.
