摘要： An air feed ratio controlling apparatus can include a predictor for predicting an air fuel ratio on the downstream side of a catalyst calculates a predicted air fuel ratio at least based on an actual air fuel ratio from an oxygen sensor and a history of a first correction coefficient. The air fuel ratio controlling apparatus can also include an adaptive model corrector which determines the deviation between the actual air fuel ratio and the predicted air fuel ratio as a prediction error ERPRE, and superposes a second correction coefficient on the first correction coefficient so that the prediction error may be reduced to zero.

The composite porous membrane satisfies a particular range of peeling strength at the interface between the porous membrane A and the porous membrane B and a particular range of difference between air resistance of the whole composite porous membrane and air resistance of the porous membrane A, provided that the porous membrane A satisfies a particular range of average pore size and porosity.

摘要： An engine rotational speed display device includes a rotational speed sensor and a pulse rotor. An engine rotational speed calculating unit is configured to calculate an engine rotational speed by a moving average of a detected value of a crankshaft rotational speed pulse. A display unit is configured to display the engine rotational speed on a meter by electrical processing. When the crankshaft rotational speed pulse is not detected in a detection time equal to or more than a predetermined value, the engine rotational speed calculating unit determines that the engine rotational speed is “0,” and the engine rotational speed of “0” is displayed on the meter.

A degree of dispersion of rhodium is 20% or more after baking at 900° C. in air for three hours. A method for manufacturing the exhaust gas purifying catalyst includes: mixing the zirconium-containing oxide with water, thereby preparing an aqueous liquid of the zirconium-containing oxide; and supporting rhodium on the zirconium-containing oxide by mixing the aqueous liquid of the zirconium-containing oxide with an aqueous solution of a rhodium salt. A pH of a mixed liquid of the aqueous solution of the rhodium salt and the aqueous liquid of the zirconium-containing oxide is adjusted to 7 or more.
