摘要: A linear guide apparatus is provided with two (upper and lower) tracks of rolling element race tracks formed on a guide rail and of rolling element race tracks formed on a slider main body so as to oppose the rolling element race tracks on the respective sides, i.e., four tracks of race tracks in total. A recess is provided below the lower rolling element race track on the slider main body and the end cap fixed to an end face of the slider main body is provided with a projection that engages with the recess so as to determine a position of the end cap.

摘要: A friction applying apparatus and a linear guide apparatus having the same, according to the present invention can uniformly contact allover contacting faces of sliding members to the contacted members so as to reduce abrasion in the sliding members and the contacted members, and may maintain appropriate frictional force and precision. In the friction applying apparatus forcing the sliding members moving along guide rails for generating friction, the sliding member is made of a material having elastic modulus being 5000 MPa or less and Vickers hardness being 400 or more.

摘要: Rolling element holding members have two holding window for holding rolling elements in rolling element running channels formed between both track faces of a rail and a slider. Further, the rolling element holding members are held between two end caps fixed opposite end surfaces of the slider by engagement of four retaining grooves formed on the end caps and opposite end portions of the rolling element holding members.

摘要: Mist of titanium element-containing liquid particles is adhered to the surface of a glass substrate having a surface compressive stress of at most 10 MPa so as to coat the surface of the glass substrate with the liquid. Next, the liquid-coated surface is heated up to a maximum temperature of from 550 to 700° C. and then cooled under a specific condition, thereby making the resulting glass sheet have a surface compressive stress of from 20 to 250 MPa. The process gives a glass sheet coated with a titanium oxide thin film having a photocatalytic function. The resulting titanium oxide thin filmhad good adhesiveness andabrasion resistance. Since its surface has a micro-roughness, the glass sheet has neither interference color nor interference fringes and has good transparency.

摘要: The present invention eliminates the need for non-audio communications performed between base units and handset units to identify the handset unit existing communication zones, and thereby reduces the consumption of handset unit batteries to extend the lives thereof. The cordless system telephone apparatus in accordance with the invention comprises a control unit connected to a public communication network through telephone lines, a plurality of base units connected to the control unit, and a plurality of handset units communicating with the base units by way of radio waves. In waiting states where the handset units are not in audio communication with the base units, the control unit does not carry out, through the communications with the base units, identifications or registrations of the communication zones in which the handset units exist. The switching of the base units for higher communication qualities is only conducted during audio communications. In those periods, the control unit is, for the switching, provided with outside-zone signals based on the levels of the signals received through respective message channels by the handset units or base units.
