Abstract:
In an opening/closing operation device for a vehicle open/close door, a handle and a lever for transmitting an unlock operation force to a latch mechanism are turnably supported by an open/close door, and one end portion of the lever is brought into contact with a contact surface formed in the handle. In the contact surface, at least a portion to be in contact with the one end portion of the lever at an initial stage of the manipulation of the handle is formed in an inclined manner or curvedly: in a way that makes the portion situated more forward in a movement direction, in which the contact surface moves in response to the turn of the handle, as the portion comes closer to a rotary fulcrum of the lever in a direction along a plane orthogonal to the movement direction such that the portion intersects the plane.
Abstract:
In setting of an oil temperature increasing process mode, the drive control technique of the invention starts an engine to actuate a mechanical oil pump that pressure feeds a flow of lubricating oil for lubricating the mechanical parts of a transmission and other relevant parts, actuates an electric oil pump that pressure feeds the flow of lubricating oil, and makes a brake B1 included in the transmission in a semi-engagement state. A motor arranged adjacent to the transmission is then driven with lowered output efficiency. This arrangement effectively accelerates heat generation by the motor and ensures a quick temperature rise of the lubricating oil.
Abstract:
A hydraulic control apparatus for a transmission includes a line pressure regulating device that enables control in which an oil pressure from an oil pump is regulated so as to attain a line pressure, and that enables control in which the line pressure is switched stepwise between a low pressure state in a lower pressure range and a high pressure state in a higher pressure range; a plurality of hydraulic servos that engage and disengage friction engaging elements using engagement pressures that are based on the line pressure; and a high pressure state detecting device that detects that the line pressure regulating device is outputting the line pressure in the high pressure state.
Abstract:
Lubricating oil supply holes are drilled into a first member that is fitted to a plurality of first annular plates by a spline. Of splines to which each lubricating oil supply hole corresponds, lubricating oil grooves provided in the plurality of first annular plates do not overlap the splines on at least one of the front and rear surfaces of the first annular plates, and therefore lubricating oil flowing out of the lubricating oil supply holes is dispersed in a circumferential direction and flows from the inner periphery to the outer periphery of the first annular plates, rather than gathering in each lubricating oil groove and flowing in an outer peripheral direction. As a result, a force generated by an axial lubricating oil flow, which acts in a direction for causing the second annular plates to contact friction materials on the first annular plates, is suppressed, leading to a reduction in drag torque.

A rendering control device capable of creating a rendering of a visible image perceived from a rendered visible image that best matches visual expectations of a rendering person as compared with its original image is provided.A rendering system S which controls an optical rendering on an optical disk DK of a visible image visually recognizable from outside the optical disk DK acquires discoloration information indicating a change in visual color on the optical disk DK by the rendering, and includes a CPU 4 which controls the rendering based on the discoloration information and image information corresponding to the visible image.
Abstract:
A front end portion of an output shaft is supported by a bearing mounted to an inner peripheral surface of a partition that separates a power distributing planetary gear and a speed change unit. A rear end portion of the output shaft is supported via a bearing which is interposed along a portion of the same plane along which also lies a mounting surface of a bearing in a rear wall that supports a rear end portion of a rotor of a second motor. As a result, the output shaft is supported by a twin support structure via the bearings by the partition and the rear wall.
Abstract:
A planetary gear train includes a carrier having a first side plate, a second side plate disposed in parallel to the first side plate and pinions rotatably supported by the first and second side plates; and a ring member secured to an outer edge of the second side plate. The first side plate has a plurality of first convex portions whose edge portion form an outer edge and a plurality of first concave portions formed between adjacent first convex portions. The second side plate has a plurality of second convex portions whose edge portion form an outer edge and whose width in a peripheral direction is wider than the first convex portion, and a plurality of carrier bridges axially extended from a part between the plurality of second convex portions to the plurality of first concave portions and secured to the first concave portion.
Abstract:
A hybrid drive system is provided which includes a first damper that is connected to an output shaft of an engine; an electric motor which is provided adjacent to the first damper and connected to the output side of the first damper; a power split device that distributes power from the engine to the electric motor and a wheel side output shaft; and a second damper that is connected to the output side of the first damper between the first damper and the electric motor. Accordingly, a hybrid drive system can be provided which reduces vibration caused by resonance of a torsional damper without increasing the size of the hybrid drive system.
Abstract:
A rotation of an input shaft is accelerated and transmitted to a drive shaft of an oil pump through gears. The oil pump is provided with a lubricant hole and part of the lubricant discharged from a discharge side oil chamber is supplied to a first sliding face of a radial bearing through the lubricant hole. By provision of a cutout portion in an oil sump and a first rib, part of the lubricant supplied from the input shaft to a bearing through a plurality of oil passages and the oil sump is supplied to a second sliding face which rotatably supports a thrust washer.
Abstract:
A failsafe hydraulic circuit designed to avoid simultaneous engagement of two friction engagement elements (e.g., clutches, brakes, etc.) incorporated in a speed change apparatus of a motor vehicle or the like. If a first failsafe valve is in the open position state and a first engaging pressure is supplied to a first hydraulic servo via the first failsafe valve, the first engaging pressure is also input to a first oil pressure switch via a second failsafe valve being in the closed position state. Therefore, using the first oil pressure switch, it can be detected that the first engaging pressure is supplied to the first hydraulic servo. Furthermore, if the first engaging pressure is, for example, greater than the set pressure of the first oil pressure switch, this situation can also be detected. Such detections provide confirmation of normal operation of the first failsafe valve and the second failsafe valve.
