An internal combustion engine with coolant flow through the cylinder jug(s) that is perpendicular to the crankshaft and not parallel to the crankshaft and coolant flow through the cylinder head that is perpendicular to the coolant flow in the cylinder jug and also perpendicular to the crankshaft. A internal combustion engine with a conventional in-block camshaft with a conventional camshaft lifter and pushrod application where the camshaft can be installed or removed from the front, back or side of the engine. A lower block in which the crankshaft is installed from the top and is cradled into the lower block and onto replaceable main bearing housings that are indexed into the lower block allowing for greater power density. An internal combustion engine having a, machining free, design that can always be repaired while still in the application and where no line boring is ever required. An internal combustion engine design that reduces weight, reduces down time, reduces parts inventories, reduces shipping cost, reduces warranty cost, reduces fuel cost, reduces friction, improves cooling and is capable of higher turbo boosting. A internal combustion engine, having a modular construction, where the ease of service and repair is a primary motivation for the invention.

The cover and the impeller are joined by a crimped connection. In some aspects, the converter includes a sealing element disposed between the cover and the impeller and the sealing element is selected from the group consisting of an o-ring and a gasket. In some aspects, the cover is a cast piece. In some aspects, the cover is formed by a process selected from the group consisting of: molding, compression molding, and pressed metal forming. In some aspects, the cover is a stamped metal piece. The present invention also broadly comprises a torque converter including a cover, an impeller, and an induction brazed connection joining the cover and impeller. In some aspects, the cover further comprises axially disposed fingers engaged with the impeller.

The display data is transmitted back to cell phone 10 and displayed by means of heads-up display 4.
