    摘要: Embodiments of the disclosure provide systems and methods for improving user equipment performance in up-link transmission by implementing antenna selection based on channel measurements in the down-link. In various embodiments, first and second antennas are used to receive desired signals on a downlink and to transmit signals on an uplink. A plurality of signals received on the downlink are used to generate a plurality of antenna parameter measurements derived from multiple correlations of a known reference sequence of data signals transmitted on the downlink. The plurality of antenna parameter measurements is then used to select either the first antenna or the second antenna for transmitting data signals by said user equipment device on the uplink.

    摘要: A method for reducing interference in a desired signal in a GSM communication system uses a finite-impulse-response filter for alternate linear equalization. The method includes a first step (300) of inputting a burst of data of a received waveform including interference from a channel of the communication system. A next step (302) includes training the finite-impulse-response filter with a set of symbols of specific quadrature phase, known a priori, in the burst of data of the received waveform. For example known real only and imaginary only symbols are alternatively selected from a midamble of the data burst. A next step (304) includes operating on the received waveform with the finite-impulse-response filter to alternately linearly equalize the burst of data to provide an estimate of the desired signal.

    摘要: Methods, devices and systems for sensor-based wireless communication systems using compressive sampling are provided. In one embodiment, the method for sampling signals comprises receiving, over a wireless channel, a user equipment transmission based on an S-sparse combination of a set of vectors; down converting and discretizing the received transmission to create a discretized signal; correlating the discretized signal with a set of sense waveforms to create a set of samples, wherein a total number of samples in the set is equal to a total number of sense waveforms in the set, wherein the set of sense waveforms does not match the set of vectors, and wherein the total number of sense waveforms in the set of sense waveforms is fewer than a total number of vectors in the set of vectors; and transmitting at least one sample of the set of samples to a remote central processor.
