摘要： A projector for masking out one or more objects between the projector and a screen. The projector includes an image capture sensor configured to produce a captured screen image. The projector further includes a processing device configured to receive a video-in signal, create a masking image that corresponds to at least a portion of the captured screen image, and produce a video-out signal, wherein the video-out signal comprises a combination of the video-in signal and the masking image. A panel controller in the projector receives the video-out signal and causes at least one or more pixels of at least one panel to be closed based upon the masking image such that any objects positioned between the projector and the screen are masked from any light projected by the projector.

摘要： A computer-implemented method for imaging of spot colors within a document using a spot color editor is provided. The method includes determining a spot color formula, using a spot color editor, for providing a colorimetric match to a desired spot color in a print job, wherein the spot color is within a color space and the spot color formula includes colorant values for each color in the color space; printing a test image of the spot color with the determined spot color formula for analysis, wherein the color composition of the spot color test image is analyzed by a user to determine whether desired image quality is achieved; and determining an updated spot color formula for providing a colorimetric match to the desired spot color in the print job based on a received input, if the desired image quality is not achieved.

摘要： A spot color rendering system and method that incorporates spot color press emulation color transformation to preserve spot color on a target rendering device. A spot color rendering option implemented in a graphical user interface can be selected in order to render the spot color via an intermediate emulation space. The spot color name calls can be first associated with a color value in an ICC profile connection space (PCS), as CIE L*a*b* or XYZ. A database relation of the spot color name with its associated PCS numerical value enables association of the name with the resultant color transformed output. Thereafter, a color transformation with respect to the spot color value can be performed in order to compute a color on an emulation press and then the color can be preserved to the target rendering device. Such an approach enables a color consistent rendering to the target rendering device similar to that of the emulation press.

摘要： A silicone release composition having a non-gloss, i.e., matte finished, surface and a linerless label incorporating the silicone release composition. The release composition includes a crosslinked silicone-based polymer having microparticles of a polymeric wax at least partially embedded therein. The polymeric wax may be polytetrafluoroethylene, polypropylene or other polyolefin, or a hydrocarbon-based wax. The microparticles of polymeric wax cause incidental light to scatter upon reflection, giving the release composition surface matte appearance. This makes the release composition particularly useful for linerless labels on which bar coded information will be printed. Also, a method for producing linerless label stock. The method includes mixing an uncured silicone material with microparticles of a polymeric wax. The mixture is coated onto a substrate and exposed to UV radiation to cure or crosslink the silicone around the microparticles of wax. An adhesive is coated onto the side of the substrate opposite the silicone release composition and the coated substrate is wound into a roll of linerless label stock.

An in-line viscometer receives the color coupler solution from the separator for determining the viscosity of the color coupler solution, and a process control system alters the temperature of the heat exchanger in response to a signal received from the viscometer for optimizing the composition of the color coupler solution.
