The objective of the present invention is to provide a blue light-emitting polymer capable of emitting blue light for a long time, and further excellent in durability, processes of producing the polymer, and a luminescent element. The blue light-emitting polymer of the invention has a repeating unit represented by formula (1): wherein each of Ar1 and Ar2 is a benzene derivative, a naphthalene derivative, or an anthracene derivative. The present invention also provides processes of producing the blue light-emitting polymer, and a luminescent element including the polymer.
