摘要: Method of burning a premixed gas and a combustor for practicing the method. A jet of the premixed gas is burnt from an inside to an outside of the jet to form a premix flame. A burned gas is mixed into the premixed gas from the outside of the jet. The burned gas is produced when premixed gas is burned.

摘要: A burner comprises at least one swirl member for mixing a fuel with an air previously to burning of the fuel, and at least one eddy generating device which is arranged in a flow of a mixture of the fuel and air to generate an eddy flow in the flow so that the eddy flow maintains a shape of a flame of the burned fuel. The at least one eddy generating device is arranged apart from a downstream end of the swirl member by a fixed sufficient distance so that the shape of the flame maintained by the eddy flow is prevented from moving toward the downstream end of the swirler member.

摘要: A combustor includes a first premixture supply device provided in a central portion of a combustion chamber disposed generally concentric with a combustion cylinder, and a second premixture supply means provided adjacent to an outer periphery of the first premixture supply device. The first premixture supply device is operable when the combustor is under a high load, and the second premixture supply device is operable when the combustor is under a low load. A method of operating a combustor is also proposed wherein the combustor comprises a combustion cylinder having a combustion chamber therein and a premixture supply device provided on one side of the combustion cylinder for supplying a combustible mixture to the combustion chamber. The premixture supply device comprising at least two inner and outer premixture supply devices. The outer premixture supply device is operable in a low-load range of the combustor while the inner and outer premixture supply devices are operable in a high-load range of the combustor at above a predetermined load. The first and second premixture supply devices include first and second burners, respectively. The first and second burners are operated in such a manner that the ratio of the load borne by the first burner to the load borne by the second burner is 1:1 in the high-load range.

摘要: A combustor for driving a gas turbine includes a first burning stage and a second burning stage. The combustor further comprises a primary combustion chamber in which air from the associated compressor and fuel are burnt, a pre-mixing chamber in which air from the associated compressor and fuel are pre-mixed, a main combustion chamber in which fuel/air mixture is burnt and forwarded to the gas turbine, an air passage provided in a wall of the main combustion chamber, through which air from the compressor flows to cool the wall thereof, and an intercommunicating air passage for intercommunicating the air passage to the pre-mixing chamber, whereby cooling air for the main combustion chamber wall is used to supplement the air in the pre-mixing chamber.

摘要: A gas turbine combustor comprises a combustion chamber, a premixing chamber in which hydrocarbon fuel and air are premixed, a nozzle with swirler for swirling and injecting the premixed fuel and air into the combustion chamber, to effect premixed combustion, and a fuel nozzle projecting into the combustion chamber and adapted to inject fuel at region wherein the premixed combustion is completed, so as to effect low air-ratio diffusion combustion thereby to produce reducing substance. NOx produced by the premixed combustion is reduced by reducing reaction with the reducing substances, so that the NOx concentration in the combustion gas is reduced. The combustor further includes an after-air ports on a peripheral wall defining the combustion chamber to effect combustion of unburnt substances.

摘要: A low NOx burning method and apparatus wherein a low air ratio flame burned with an amount of air less than an amount of air in a theoretical air ratio required for burning fuel perfectly is formed, and combustibles discharged from the low air ratio flame are burned at a trailing stream of the low air ratio flame while supplying air. The low air ratio flame is a premixing flame burned by premixing the fuel and air, and combustion of the premixing flames is maintained in the vicinity of the premixing flame. In this way, the generation of the NOx during the burning can be greatly decreased, and the required apparatus can be small-sized.

摘要: A gas turbine combustor comprises an inner cylinder provided with louvers in an outer periphery thereof, defines a head combustion chamber and a main combustion chamber located downstream of and greater in diameter than the head combustion. An outer cylinder surrounds the inner cylinder and defines an air passage therebetween. A first burner communicates with the head combustion chamber and supplies air with gaseous fuel, and a second burner being disposed in the air passage near the head combustion chamber and supplying air and gaseous fuel into the main combustion chamber. The second burner is formed with a plurality of air inlets by a plurality of vanes which are disposed in an annular passage and which swirl the air, and with gaseous fuel jet ports near the inner peripheries of the air inlets. When the flow rate of the supplied fuel is small, the fuel flows along an inner-peripheral surface of the second burner, and when the flow rate is large, the fuel from the air inlets moves from the inner-peripheral surface toward the outer-peripheral surface of the second burner so as to be mixed well with the air supplied into the main combustion chamber. Thus, the production of NO.sub.x, CO, HC etc. can be decreased over the whole operating range of the turbine.

摘要: A power generating plant which includes a direct contact-type heat exchanger. A low-boiling point medium such as freon and a heat-source medium such as heated oil, are injected from a lower portion of the heat exchanger so that the two media are brought into direct contact with each other thereby vaporizing the gaseous low-boiling point medium. The low-boiling medium acts as a working fluid while it circulates through a closed cycle of the plant which includes a turbine and a condenser. The heat-source medium, circulates in a closed cycle of the plant which includes a heating unit.

摘要: A low boiling point medium power plant in which heated waste gas, such as furnace gas, geothermic steam, etc., is used as a heat source for heating an intermediate thermal medium by means of an indirect heat exchanger, and the intermediate thermal medium is used as a heat source for heating a turbine driving low boiling point medium by means of a direct heat exchanger. The indirect heat exchanger and the direct heat exchanger are rendered into a unitary structure and contained in a sealed housing together with a turbine, a generator and a condenser, whereby a compact overall size can be obtained in a low boiling point medium power plant.
