摘要： A method of estimating cardinality of a join of tables using multi-column density values and additionally using coarser density values of a subset of the multi-column density attributes. In one embodiment, the subset of attributes for the coarser densities is a prefix of the set of multi-column density attributes. A number of tuples from each table that participate in the join may be estimated using densities of the subsets. The cardinality of the join can be estimated using the multi-column density for each table and the estimated number of tuples that participate in the join from each table.

摘要： An electrical connector comprises an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals received in the housing, an insulative stuffer and a conductive shield surrounding the housing. The housing comprises a top wall, a bottom wall, two side walls and a baffle between the top wall and the bottom wall. A receptacle and a plurality of channels are defined between the top wall and the baffle. A slot and a plurality of passageways are defined between the baffle and the bottom wall. Each terminal has an upper positioning portion and a contact portion both received in a corresponding channel, and a lower positioning portion received in a corresponding passageway. The shield is of a unitary construction and has a top panel, a bottom panel, a pair of front panels connecting the top panel to the bottom panel, and a pair of lateral panels together defining a space for enclosing the housing. A grounding panel is also connected to the top panel and enters into the receptacle when the shield is assembled to the housing; the stuffer has a main body for movably being received within the receptacle. In operation, the stuffer downwardly presses the grounding panel against an inserted flexible printed circuit to firmly clamp an inserted flexible printed circuit between the contact portion of the terminals and the grounding panel.

摘要： An electrical connector comprises a housing and a number of contacts received in the housing. The housing includes a pair of elongate side walls and a mating board disposed between the side walls. A number of ribs laterally extends from opposite inner surfaces of the side walls toward the mating board thereby increasing the rigidity of the side walls. The mating board forms a plurality of lateral passageways in opposite surfaces thereof exposed to the side walls. Each contact includes a mating portion, a fixing portion extending from the mating portion, a slanted portion extending from the fixing portion for preventing molten solder from wicking, and a soldering portion extending from the slanted portion and perpendicular to the fixing portion. The fixing portions are securely received in the corresponding passageways of the housing.

摘要： A plug connector (10) includes an insulative elongated housing (12) defining an elongated cavity (14) therein along the lengthwise direction. The depth of the cavity (14) is relatively smaller than the full dimension of the height of the housing (12). The housing (12) defines a plurality of passageways (18) extending along the height direction and the front end portion of each passageway (18) inwardly communicates with the cavity (14). Oppositely, the remaining most lower portion of each passageway (18) is exposed to an exterior laterally. Thus, a plurality of elongated contacts (24) are adapted to be insertably received within the corresponding passageways (18), respectively, wherein the front portion (36) of each contact (24) is inwardly exposed to the cavity (14) and the remaining portion (26) of the contact (24) is outwardly exposed to an exterior on two sides of the housing (12). A plurality of raised ribs (60) are disposed on two side surfaces (42) of the housing (12) for providing additional support against a shield plate (40). Two pairs of barbs (30, 32) are provided adjacent two opposite ends of each contact (24) wherein the front barbs (32) provide not only alignment but also retention, and the rear barbs (30) provide not only resistance to vibration occurring thereabout, but also preferred engagement with the shield plate for some specific grounding contact (24).
