摘要： A camera in which lenses in a lens system can be easily adjusted and manufacturing steps can be eliminated. The camera is equipped with an aperture which regulates the exposure region of a film, and a pressure plate with a tool insertion aperture hole formed in a region opposite the aperture. The tool insertion hole is disposed at the back surface of the aperture. This tool insertion hole allows for easy and efficient adjustment of the lenses making up the camera's lens system. Usually, the lens system is a zoom lens system.

The positioning of the axis of rotation of the cartridge cover in the camera body and not along an edge or corner also improves the camera's aesthetic and ergonomic qualities.

摘要： A video camera capable of switching an aspect ratio and an electronic view finder for use in the same. In response to a switching control signal from an aspect ratio switching circuit, a video signal having a different degree of horizontal compression and an aspect switching control signal are fed to the view finder, a magnetic recording/reproducing circuit and an external device. The magnetic recording/reproducing circuit simultaneously records the video signal and the switching control signal. In reproduction, the magnetic recording/reproducing circuit reproduces and outputs the recorded switching control signal. In response to the switching control signal, the external device changes the deflection angle of a built-in display circuit and switches the aspect ratio to display the video signal. The electronic view finder receives a video signal having a different horizontal compression degree, and at the same time receives the aspect ratio switching control signal to operate the switching circuit in the view finder to change the deflection angle and hence switch the aspect ratio to display the image.

The voltage generation circuits make the potential of the bit lines and the potential of the source lines equal to each other in response to an instruction to transition from active state to standby state. The voltage generation circuits produce a potential difference between the bit lines and the source lines in response to an instruction to transition from standby state to active state. In standby state, the potential of the bit lines and that of the source lines are equal to each other. Therefore, sub-threshold leakage does not occur between the source and drain of each memory cell. In active state, the source line potential is not varied.

The connecting member includes a component surface used to communicate electrical signals between the fist electronic component and the second electronic component. The flexible connecting member has a shape that permits it to extend and retract in directions substantially perpendicular to the component surface. The shape also permits the flexible connecting member to be maintained in a single plane when in a fully retracted state.

摘要： When defective pixels of a solid state image pickup device of a video camera are corrected by signal processes, a white spot noise is detected by closing an iris and by comparing the signal level and a level of only a dark current. Further, in this case, a gain of an AGC circuit for controlling a gain of a video signal is raised and a precise detection is executed. By executing such a detecting operation at the time of turn-on or turn-off of a power source, the user is not annoying. In the ordinary photographing, a reference level in detection of a white spot noise is set to an optimum value in accordance with a temperature of the solid state image pickup device or its peripheral temperature or the gain of the AGC circuit so that the white spot noise detection is not influenced by the temperature of the solid state image pickup device or the operating state of the AGC circuit.
