摘要: A travel assistance method and a travel assistance device for a vehicle is capable of avoiding any risk that may arise. The method includes obtaining a risk potential of an object detected by the vehicle, associating the risk potential of the object with an encounter location at which the object is encountered, accumulating the risk potential at the encounter location, and using the accumulated risk potential to obtain a primary estimated risk potential of the object predicted to be encountered at the encounter location. The primary estimated risk potential is lower than the risk potential obtained when detecting the object. The method further includes obtaining a secondary estimated risk potential using a predicted travel movement of another vehicle that avoids a risk due to the primary estimated risk potential, and when traveling at the encounter location again, autonomously controlling travel of the vehicle using the secondary estimated risk potential.

摘要: An EGR estimation method for estimating an EGR rate in an intake and exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, the intake and exhaust system including: an intake system including an air cleaner and an intake passage that connects the air cleaner and the engine, an exhaust system including an exhaust passage, and a supercharger that is provided in the intake passage and the exhaust passage, the intake and exhaust system including an EGR device including an EGR passage that connects the intake passage and the exhaust passage and an EGR valve, and the intake system including an intake bypass passage that connects an upstream pressure portion and a downstream pressure portion of the supercharger and a recirculation valve. The EGR estimation method includes: opening the recirculation valve during supercharging, and estimating the EGR rate after closing the EGR valve based on the EGR rate before opening the recirculation valve.

摘要: A blowby gas treatment device includes a pressure control valve, a fresh air induction pipe, a first blowby gas pipe, a second blowby gas pipe, a shutoff valve, a one-way valve, and a PCV valve. A leak diagnosis includes a first-stage diagnosis to determine whether or not falling of a pressure in a crank case after closing of the shutoff valve under a non-supercharging condition is normal. A second-stage diagnosis is implemented by moving the pressure control valve from a fully opened state into a fully closed state, and determining whether an intake air quantity in each state is equal to each other. When the intake air quantity in each state is equal to each other, presence of an in-system leak is determined. When a fully closed state intake air quantity is different from a fully opened state intake air quantity, presence of an out-of-system leak is determined.

摘要: A controller causes a host vehicle to decelerate when a velocity of an oncoming vehicle corresponding to a position of the oncoming vehicle distant from a stationary object by a predetermined distance is greater than or equal to a velocity threshold corresponding to the position of the oncoming vehicle distant from the stationary object by the predetermined distance in a case in which a passing position is present within a predetermined region, and causes the host vehicle to keep the velocity or accelerate when the velocity of the oncoming vehicle corresponding to the position of the oncoming vehicle distant from the stationary object by the predetermined distance is less than the velocity threshold corresponding to the position of the oncoming vehicle distant from the stationary object by the predetermined distance in the case in which the passing position is present within the region.

摘要: An anomaly determination device and an anomaly determination method determine an anomaly of a device based on state data of the device, by using a first determination model configured to determine whether a predetermined anomaly has occurred in the device, and a second determination model configured to classify state of the device, and output the determined anomaly of the device as an unknown anomaly in a case where the anomaly of the device is not the predetermined anomaly.

摘要: A shield case including a base portion made of a nonmetal material and having a mounting surface on which the electronic component is mounted, a cover portion made of a metal material and covering surroundings of the electronic component and a metal plate abutting with an outer surface of the base portion and having an end portion projecting outward from the base portion. A side-wall end portion of the cover member includes a first end abutting with the mounting surface of the base portion, and a second end extending in a thickness direction of the base portion and abutting with the end portion of the metal plate.
