摘要: (Purpose) A construction for mounting a load-sensing element for use with a vehicle, in which construction no measurement error is resulted even if the slide plate contacts the leaf spring at different contacting points. (Construction) The sensing element 21 is composed of opposed walls forming a substantially U-shape in both front and side views thereof and having a hollow portion therein, and a plate-like member made of a magnetic material, which plate-like member being inserted into the hollow portion and threaded by a coil to be held therein, wherein the mounting location 15f of the slide plate 15 is a groove into which said sensing element 21 is fitted; wherein the construction further includes a lid which fits over the sensing element and a wedge-like key inserted under the sensing element for fixing the sensing element. The output of the sensing elements are added together so as to output a sum of the outputs of the sensing elements.

摘要: A pressure-sensitive recording material of the type which is prepared by using an electron donating dye-precursor that produces a color when the dye-precursor is brought into contact with an electron accepting color developer. The pressure-sensitive recording material is characterized in that the solvent for said dye-precursor comprises an alkylated fraction which is prepared by alkylating a by-product fraction with at least one alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, the by-product fraction containing the components within the boiling range of 255.degree. to 300.degree. C. on the atmospheric pressure basis and being obtained in the process for producing ethylbenzene or ethyltoluene from ethylene and benzene or toluene. The pressure-sensitive recording material of the invention has scarcely offensive odor and can develop a dense color with a higher color developing rate.

摘要: An improved metal coated textile and its production method where the coating of metal is deposited onto the textile through sputtering process in thickness between 20 to 2000 angstroms, with less than 5% variance in thickness across the entire length and width of the textile with width up to and over 10000 mm and length up to and over 1000 meters. The improved sputtering process utilizes longer cathodes, arrangements of metal target(s), tension controller with tension meter(s), guard(s), cylinder cover(s), and control over the textile while traveling through the chamber. The metal layer deposited is highly adhesive to the textile and is suitable for producing clothing, swim wear, diving suit, tent, cushion, wall paper, curtain, carpet, protective cover, screen window, equipment casing, and various other items. The metal layer confers characteristics such as anti-bacterial, deodorizing, improved metallic appearance and texture, electrical conductivity, heat-shielding, heat retention, and dirt repellency to the textile.

摘要: A disk array device selects a redundant generation method for reducing the overhead and improving the reliability associated with generating redundant data. The disk array device includes a disk controller connected to and controlling an array of disk drives. The disk controller includes a redundant data generator, a difference data generator, and a redundant data generation method selector. The redundant data generator is able to generate redundant data via a read and modify method and an all stripes method. The disk array device selects a method of generating redundant data from a method of read and modify and all stripes, and a method of generation in a drive and a method of difference, both of which are executed to generate redundant data on a disk drive.
