    摘要： An information reproducing device for reproducing digital signals with an optical head from an optical disk includes a first equalizer for waveform-equalizing a reproduction signal, an adaptive learning device for renewing the equalization properties of the first waveform equalizer with an adaptation algorithm, a memory for storing a reproduction signal, a second waveform equalizer that reads signals from the memory and performs waveform equalization after an adaptive learning operation for the first waveform equalizer has been terminated, and a demodulator for demodulating the output of the second waveform equalizer. Thus, adaptive equalization processing can be performed with constantly superior equalization properties and without sacrificing data capacity.

    摘要： An optical head includes: a light source; a photodetector for generating a prescribed signal based on light which the photodetector receives; a converging optical system for converging a light beam emitted from the light source to be incident upon a prescribed reflective member; and a reproducing optical system for guiding reflected light from the prescribed reflective member to the photodetector. The reproducing optical system is configured for converging light on a prescribed converging point, and a filter having a light transmissive region for allowing light in the vicinity of a center of the converged light to selectively pass therethrough is provided in the vicinity of the converging point. The light transmissive region of the filter is formed by light which has passed through at least a part of the reproducing optical system and has been converged.

    摘要： A modulated magnetic field generation circuit is used in a disk recording apparatus which can overwrite data on a magneto-optical disk. The modulated magnetic field generation circuit includes a first coil for applying the magnetic field modulated for recording to the magneto-optical disk, a second coil for storing the energy used to reverse the direction of the current flowing to the first coil, a current limiter for limiting the current flowing to the second coil, and switching elements for changing the direction of the current flowing to the second coil to the first coil. Thus, a high frequency modulated magnetic field is generated with low power consumption and low voltage.
