    摘要: The invention relates to a mould system (1) for manufacturing a container (500), whereby the mould system (1) includes a movable mould half (10) and a stationary mould half (20), which mould halves (10 and 20) are located opposite to each other, the mould system (1) enabling the manufacture of the container (500), which comprises a bottom (57) pressed from a cardboard blank, walls (59) connected to the said bottom (57), and a rim (50) that is at least partly cast of plastic, connected to the upper edge of the walls (59) and encircles the walls, whereby the mould half (10) that is movable with respect to the stationary mould half (20) includes at least a core plate (4) provided with a core (41), a plate-like seal ring (5), which is movable with respect to the (41), comprises a seal surface (5a) and surrounds the core (41), and a collar ring (6), which is movable with respect to the core (41) and the seal ring (5) and can be fitted between the same, and the stationary mould half (20) includes at least a mould plate (7), which is provided with a mould cavity (71) and a seal surface (7a). The mould system (1) comprises a raising collar (612), which is detachably connected on top of the basic collar (611) of the collar ring (6) of the movable mould half (10), the seal surface (612a) of the raising collar (612) comprising grooves or recesses that are lower than the rest of the plane of the said seal surface, whereby the surface or recesses of the seal ring may comprise bulges or embossed patterns, grooves or recesses, which are on the plane of the seal surface (612a) or possibly slightly extend upwards therefrom; and the bulges or embossed patterns in these grooves or recesses can be used to provide, on the plastic rim (50) of the container (500), ridges (80) or bulges that rise from the rest of the plane of the said rim, grooves or recesses, which are between the ridges and bulges and which are on the plane of the rim (50) or slightly lower than the rest of the plane of the rim and which possibly comprise embossed patterns or bulges.

    摘要: The invention relates to a ready-made food package, to a method for manufacturing it and to the use of polymer-coated board in the ready-made food package. The package is manufactured by placing the food (16) in a raw state in the tray (2) where the food is baked, and by closing the tray with a lid (4) after baking. In accordance with the invention, the lid (4) is formed from a blank cut from polymer-coated board, the blank being placed over the mouth of the tray (2), and then the edges (9) of the blank are bent under the rim flange (6) of the tray and heat-sealed to the lower surface (11) of the rim flange by means of the polymer coating (14) of the board. The lid can be additionally heat-sealed to the upper surface (10) of the rim flange, so that two sealing lines (15) will be formed inside each other in the package. Accordingly, the tray (2) can be formed of polymer-coated board or optionally of polymer or aluminium alone.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method of providing board containers (V) with prints and a printing machine that applies the method. According to the invention, the printing machine comprises a turret head (2), with uniformly spaced radial arms (3) diverging from its rotational axis, each arm ending in a mandrel (4) that carries a container (1); and stationary stations (5, 6, 8) that are located on the path of the turret head for gripping a container, printing it by a printhead (7, 13), and removing the printed container (V). At the printing station (6), the container (1) is digital-printed by the printhead (7), past which the surface of the container is conveyed by means of a rotational motion. The container can be a conical drinking cup (1), which is ink-jet printed by the stationary printhead (7) by rotating the cup by 360° by means of the mandrel (4) that is pushed inside the cup. The cups (I) can be produced at a plant in mass-scale production runs and divided into smaller lots, which are delivered to customers and which the customers then print according to their own individual needs.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a board tray (7), to a tray blank feasible for the method, and to a tray obtained by the method. The method comprises moulding a blank of plastic-coated board into the tray (7) comprising a bottom (3), side walls (4), as well as a rim flange (5), the blank being compressed in a direction transverse to the tray's side walls and rim flange. According to the invention, the blank is made thinner on its side opposite to the plastic coating such that, during the moulding process, the plastic coating double-folds at the compressed parts and stabilizes compressions (8) by becoming sealed to itself. Making the blank thinner is most conveniently effected by carving the board layer with a laser beam for having the fiber material predominantly or completely removed from where the cuts are located. As a result of the moulding process, the tray's rim flange (5) develops a smooth plastic surface which enables closing the tray hermetically with a heat-sealed cover.
