摘要: An installation includes spray nozzles (1) connected to a pressurized extinguishing liquid supply line (3). Fire detecting elements are connected to elements controlling the supply of the nozzles. The installation comprises a compressed gas container (6) connected by a pipe (5) to a tank (4) containing the liquid and which itself is connected to the supply line (3). The conduit (5) is normally closed by a valve (7) with controlled opening so as to enable compressed gas contained in the container to penetrate into the tank to evacuate the liquid towards the supply line of the nozzles. The nozzles are associated with respective electrically driven fans (9) arranged in series so that an electrically driven fan located downstream of an upstream electrically driven fan sucks in the larger volume between the downstream and upstream electrically driven fans.

摘要: This invention relates to a device for treatment of culture by moistening. This device comprises at least one practically horizontal tubular tank (3) having a slit (4) in which are clamped the upper ends (2) of flexible capillary wicks (1) adapted for resting on the vegetation. This tank (3) is intermittently fed with a pressurized liquid, such as a weed-killer. According to the invention, each inlet (5) through which pressurized liquid is intermittently fed to a tank (3) is provided with a calibrated orifice (6) acting as an atomizer for spraying liquid into the tank. Preferably, a ball valve (7) biased by a spring (9) against its seat (8) is provided for preventing the liquid from dripping into the tank (3) during interruptions of pressure. In case the upper ends (2) of the wicks (1) are so tightly clamped in the slit (4) of the tank that capillary flow would be impeded, a row of orifices (10) is provided along an edge of the slit (4 ) for allowing liquid to seep onto the wicks (1).

摘要: A system includes a first pump feeding a first component into a mixer, and a second pump feeding a second component into the mixer. The movement of the piston of each pump can be reversed from a direction of suction and of expulsion of the volume of the pump to a direction of expulsion of the component and vice versa. A movement detector is associated with each pump and is connected to a controller programmed to trigger the reversal of a pump after having determined that the volume remaining in the pump is insufficient to ensure the predetermined metering ratio. The controller is programmed to provide the continuous feeding of the first component into the mixer through the operation of the system, and the intermittent feeding of the second component into the mixer in order to carry out cycles of feeding doses of the second component into the mixer.
