Abstract:
A dispensing device for a dental substance is provided which has an outlet for the dental substance, and a valve for opening and closing the outlet. The device is switchable between a storage mode and an operative mode. In the storage mode a cannula is locked in the device and the valve opens the outlet, and in the storage mode the cannula can be released from the device and the valve closes the outlet. The device may facilitate handling and may be relatively inexpensive.
Abstract:
A locking mechanism (1) for a vehicle seat, particularly for a motor vehicle seat, includes a latch (11) that is to be interlocked with an opposite element (B) and is mounted to be pivotable about a first bearing bolt (13), and at least one securing element (25, 31) that secures the latch (11) in the locked state. A cap (17) which rests on the latch (11) covers at least part of the edge of a hook opening of the latch (11).
Abstract:
The invention involves a double trim tab for watercraft in which connection the flow interceptor (1) is activated by an actuation cylinder (4) and the flow interceptor (1) activates the bottom tab (2). One of the tabs may have a course correction device (10) or a course correction fin (11). In addition, an electronic steering device (14) can likewise carry out a course correction in the event of a trim change in which connection the steering wheel (17) is kept neutral by means of an uncoupling device (18).
Abstract:
An ink jet head is formed with a nozzle surface having a liquid repellent characteristic. The nozzle surface comprises a condensation product made from a hydrolyzable silane compound having a fluorine containing group and a hydrolyzable silane compound having a cationic polymerizable group.

Abstract:
A method for wear-minimized operation of a component of an installation and a corresponding installation are disclosed. A sensor for state identification is associated with the component and transmits a sensor signal to an evaluation unit. The evaluation unit checks the sensor signal to ascertain whether a wear-promoting operating state is present, and in the event of the presence of such an operating state the component is driven such that a change in the operating state in favor of an operating state with less wear takes place. If, for example, a component is operated at its resonant frequency, it is ensured that the component is operated at a slightly different rotation speed, at which far less severe oscillations occur.
Abstract:
A process for preparing polymers containing polyortho ester groups and optionally NCO groups by reacting A) and B) where A) is a polyortho ester containing at least one isocyanate-reactive group prepared by reacting at least one or more acyclic ortho esters with low molecular weight polyols having a functionality of 4-8 and a number-average molecular weight of 80-500 g/mol and B) is least one polyisocyanate. The polymers obtained from the process can be used to produce coatings, adhesive bonds and/or seals. The coating compositions can include one or more of the above-described polymers, optionally polyisocyanates, catalysts, and optionally auxiliaries and additives and can be used to coat substrates.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to capsules encapsulating cytochrome P450 producing cells and cytochrome P450 producing retroviral packaging cells. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the treatment of cancer or any other relevant disease with said capsules and to the use of said capsules for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for said treatment.
Abstract:
In a device, particularly a locking device (11) for a vehicle seat, with at least one casing component (13) and at least one bearing (15) for bearing at least one pivotable element (23), the bearing (15) is tooled by plastic transformation as a first draw-through (15) in the first casing component (13).
Abstract:
A water-soluble, biodegradable hydroxyalkyl cellulose-2-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester is disclosed. The hydroxyalkyl cellulose-2-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester has: (i) a molecular degree of substitution of the hydroxyalkyl group of less than 1.5 (MShydroxyalkyl
