In one example, a medical device system includes an implantable medical device comprising an expandable anchor, a locking member engaged to a first end of the anchor, two posts configured to engage the locking member, each of the posts being engaged to a portion of the anchor, each post defining a hole at a distal end of the post, and a fastening element extending through each hole of a respective post and being engaged to a second end of the anchor, where, in a locked configuration, the posts are secured to the locking member.

    摘要: A prosthetic heart valve includes a radially expandable stent and a plurality of leaflets. Each leaflet includes a coaptation portion, an arcuate edge, and a belly. The coaptation portion is movable relative to respective coaptation portions of the other leaflets. The acuate edge has a first end and a second end and is coupled to the stent. The belly extends from the arcuate edge to an axis defined by the first and second ends of the arcuate edge, wherein the ratio of the surface area of the belly to the outer cross-sectional area of the expanded stent is about 0.09 to about 0.16.

    摘要: A prosthetic heart valve includes an expandable stent and a leaflet assembly coupled to the expandable stent. The expandable stent is radially expandable from a first size for intraluminal delivery through a body passageway to a second size for implantation of the prosthetic heart valve in the body passageway. The leaflet assembly includes leaflets movable between an open position permitting flow past the expanded stent and a closed position substantially restricting flow past the expanded stent. Each of the leaflets is coaptable with each of the other leaflets in the closed position to define a coaptation region of about 15 percent to about 35 percent of the overall height of each of the plurality of leaflets.
