The piezoelectric actuator includes: upper and lower electrodes providing driving voltage; and a piezoelectric substance formed between the upper and lower electrodes through solidifying a liquid piezoelectric substance, and providing driving force to ink in each of a plurality of pressure chambers provided in an inkjet head, wherein the piezoelectric substance includes a plurality of branch portions individually provided on an upper portion of each of the plurality of pressure chambers and a large area portion integrally provided while being connected to each of the plurality of branch portions at one ends of the plurality of branch portions.

The ink-jet may be operated with a lower driving voltage, and the ink may be jetted in a more stable manner.

The ink-jet head may include: an upper substrate, formed by processing a chamber in a silicon substrate; a middle substrate, bonded to the upper substrate and formed by processing an ink channel, which connects with the chamber, in a glass substrate; and a lower substrate, bonded to the middle substrate and formed by processing a nozzle, which connects with the ink channel, in a silicon substrate. With certain embodiments of the invention, a high level of precision may be obtained for the structures formed in the upper substrate and the lower substrate, and the middle substrate may be manufactured in low cost. Also, the substrates may be bonded together in a facilitated manner, so that production yield may be increased.
