    摘要: A process and a plant for producing tyres for vehicle wheels are described. Building of a crown structure of the tyre includes building a crossed belt structure on a substantially cylindrical first forming drum, transferring the crossed belt structure from the first forming drum to an annular holding member, positioning a second forming drum in a radially inner position with respect to the annular holding member, transferring the crossed belt structure from the annular holding member to the second forming drum by radially expanding the second forming drum until it is brought into contact with the crossed belt structure so as to toroidally shape the crossed belt structure, and depositing at least one zero degrees belt layer on the second forming drum in a radially outer position with respect to the toroidally-shaped crossed belt structure.

    摘要: A motorcycle tyre (1) is described comprising an equatorial plane (X-X) and a tread band (8) comprising a radially inner portion (13) and a radially outer portion (11) respectively comprising a first and a second vulcanized elastomeric material obtained by vulcanizing respective elastomeric materials comprising 100 phr of at least one elastomeric diene polymer, from 30 to 130 phr of at least one reinforcing filler comprising an amount greater than 75% or, respectively, equal to or greater than 80% of a white filler. In the tyre (1) the ratio R1 between the dynamic elastic modulus (E′) and the tandelta measured at a frequency of 10 Hz and at 70° C. of the first vulcanized elastomeric material is comprised between 27 and 35, whereas the ratio R2 between the dynamic elastic modulus (E′) and the tandelta measured at a frequency of 10 Hz and at 70° C. of the second vulcanized elastomeric material is comprised between 15 and 30, the ratio R1/R2 being greater than or equal to 1.1.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for applying noise reducing elements to tyres for vehicle wheels. Noise reducing elements (12), all equal to each other, are fed in succession on a conveyor (20) according to a predetermined path and are oriented on the predetermined path all in the same way. Tyres (2) of different sizes (C, P) are fed in succession on a conveyor (20) up to an application station (34). In the application station (34), the noise reducing elements (12) are picked up from the conveyor (20) and applied to radially inner surfaces of the tyres (2). The application comprises: arranging the noise reducing elements (12) with the larger dimension (L) directed in a circumferential direction or arranging the noise reducing elements (12) with the larger dimension (L) directed in an axial direction as a function of the sizes (C, P) of the tyre (2) in which they are applied.
