    摘要: A method and apparatus for facilitating access terminal handoff between access networks is provided. The method may comprise: receiving, at a first access network (AN), an access channel message from an access terminal, wherein the access channel message includes information corresponding to a communication session between a second AN and the access terminal, wherein the communication session includes at least an active personality negotiated with the second AN, obtaining at least one personality, associated with the access terminal, previously negotiated by the first AN, determining if one of the at least one personalities is substantially similar to the active personality, and upon a determination that one of the at least one personalities is substantially similar to the active personality, transferring the communication session to the first AN with the substantially similar personality as the active personality.

    摘要: A system and associated method for automatically pipeline parallelizing a nested loop in sequential code over a predefined number of threads. Pursuant to task dependencies of the nested loop, each subloop of the nested loop are allocated to a respective thread. Combinations of stage partitions executing the nested loop are configured for parallel execution of a subloop where permitted. For each combination of stage partitions, a respective bottleneck is calculated and a combination with a minimum bottleneck is selected for parallelization.

    摘要: A biphasic lipid vesicle composition for treating cervical displasia by intravaginal delivery. The composition includes a suspension of lipid-bilayer vesicles having entrapped therein, an oil-in-water emulsion, human interferon alpha-2b and L-methionine, the composition having an interferon alpha-2b specific activity of between about 1-10 MIU (million international units) per gram composition, and between 0.01 to 0.5 weight percent L-methionine. In the treatment method, the composition is administered at a dose of between about 1-20 MIU interferon alpha-2b, and this dose is administered at least 3 days/week, for a period of at least 4 weeks.

    摘要: A network includes reservation agents for reserving bandwidth for communication sessions and swapping bandwidth reservations from one communication session to another communication session. After a swap, the recipient communication session proceeds using the bandwidth originally reserved for the donor communication session, while the donor communication session no longer utilizes that bandwidth reservation. By swapping bandwidth reservations, a network may more efficiently use bandwidth in an environment where bandwidth is a limited resource.
