    摘要： The invention concerns a method for separating a stack of notes of value, in which the stack of notes of value is arranged in a separating position. Subsequently, a withdrawal element is driven such that it transports at least one marginal note of value of the stack of notes of value in a separating direction in the direction of a separating gap formed between a transport element and a counter run element. Also the transport element is driven such that it transports the note of value further in the separating direction. By means of a sensor unit arranged downstream of the separating gap the number of the notes of value withdrawn and transported through the separating gap is determined. The withdrawal element, the transport element and/or the counter run element are controlled depending on this determined number of notes of value withdrawn.
