摘要: The disclosed embodiments relate to methods for requesting and retrieving aircraft data during flight of an aircraft. This aircraft data can be used to perform additional monitoring of aircraft sub-systems to detect an abnormal condition, and/or to identify one or more sources that are causing the abnormal condition. In one embodiment, aircraft data for one or more relevant parameters can be requested from the ground, measured on-board the aircraft, and stored in a data file that is then communicated back to personnel on the ground. The real-time aircraft data for one or more relevant parameters can then be analyzed to identify the one or more sources that are causing the abnormal condition.

摘要: A computer-implemented method for encoding a handwritten stroke set, each of the handwritten stroke set being representative of a constituent stroke of an ideographic character, to obtain an encoded input sequence. The method includes ascertaining a shape of a first stroke of the handwritten stroke set and ascertaining one of a location information and a size information pertaining to the first stroke. The method further includes assigning a first code to the encoded input sequence responsive to a determination of the shape of the first stroke and a determination of the one of the location information and the size information of the first stroke. The first code is predefined to represent the shape of the first stroke and the one of the location information and the size information of the first stroke. The first code is sufficiently unique to distinguish the first code from other codes representing other permutations of shape and the one of the location information and the size information of the first stroke.

摘要: The disclosed embodiments relate to methods and systems for monitoring sub-systems of an aircraft to detect an abnormal condition, and for identifying one or more sources that are causing the abnormal condition. In response to detecting a trigger event during flight of the aircraft, data for a plurality of relevant parameters is measured and stored in a parameter file. The parameter file is transmitted from the aircraft over a wireless communication link, and relayed to a ground support network. At the ground support network, the measured data for the plurality of the relevant parameters is then used to identify the one or more sources that are causing the abnormal condition.

摘要: Provided is a protective heel enclosure device that is adapted to prevent the back of the footwear from becoming scuffed or damaged while worn by a user. The footwear protector includes a sleeve having an upper and an elongated heel portion extending downward therefrom. The upper portion of the sleeve includes a zipper, which facilitates the opening of the upper portion of the sleeve. The heel portion of the sleeve includes a sole portion attached thereon, which provides traction so as to prevent skidding. The sleeve is constructed to fit snugly to the back and heel of the footwear. In this way, the protective heel enclosure device of the present invention will not tend to move or will only move relatively minimally against the footwear as it protects the back and heel of the footwear and prolongs the life of the same.
