    摘要： The present invention relates to cables made of twisted conductor pairs. More specifically, the present invention relates to twisted pair communication cables for high-speed data communications applications. A twisted pair including at least two conductors extends along a generally longitudinal axis, with an insulation surrounding each of the conductors. The conductors are twisted generally longitudinally along the axis. A cable includes at least two twisted pairs and a filler. At least two of the cables are positioned along generally parallel axes for at least a predefined distance. The cables are configured to efficiently and accurately propagate high-speed data signals by, among other functions, limiting at least a subset of the following: impedance deviations, signal attenuation, and alien crosstalk along the predefined distance.

    摘要： The present invention presents devices, kits, systems and methods that can be used to deliver and activate a photosensitizing composition in a cavity. For example, a device of the present invention includes a member having a base portion, an insert portion adapted for insertion into the cavity, and a pocket adapted for communication with a waveguide which is connected to a light source for delivering light to the device, wherein the pocket includes a light dispersing section that is adapted for light communication with distal end of the waveguide and desired illumination pattern for photodisinfection of the cavity is provided by at least one of the elements selected from the group consisting of: surface finish of the light dispersing section, geometry of the light dispersing section, surface finish of the member, geometry of the member, and a combination thereof. The present invention can be used for humans, other animals, and inanimate objects.

    摘要： A writing instrument such as a pen having a nib and a shaft for hand-held use. The shaft is formed with three elongated concave indentations in a generally equilateral triangular configuration with rounded vertices and at least one concave side as seen in cross section in the region normally grasped which form sockets to receive the thumb, index finger and middle finger respectively so as to provide a firm, comfortable and relaxed grasp ensuring complete control of the instrument and virtually eliminating writing tension. The nib is adjustable positionable relative to the shaft axis to provide a nib edge alignment at an angle to the pen's horizontal axis as defined by the three concave indentations, thus ensuring an optimum angle of contact between the nib and a writing surface, regardless of whether the pen is used right or left-handed, for producing attractive pleasing writing. Interchangeable nibs containing their own soluble marking medium in a nib unit may be provided for a shaft which carries solvent to be fed to the nib unit through a dialysis membrane. This pen is advantageous for use by both adults and children and can be used with any of a number of writing systems as taught to children in various schools. It is found that children's hands become relaxed in using this writing instrument and their writing skills advance more rapidly than when using conventional equipment.
