摘要: A method for placing advertisements selects a first content from a variety of content, analyzes the first content for the presence of advertiser references, and matches a first advertisement from an advertiser to the first content by using the advertiser references. This method determines a set of presentation preferences for presentation of the first advertisement in conjunction with the first content and includes the set of presentation preferences with the first content. In some cases, the method embeds the presentation preferences as advertising information into the first content. Advantageously, the method presents the first advertisement in conjunction with the first content by using the presentation preferences. Further, the method tracks the presentation of content for monetization events and stores the tracking information in a log. The monetization event includes, for example, an impression, a click, an acquisition, and/or a conversion. Further embodiments include a system and a computer readable medium for implementation of the foregoing.

摘要: Methods and systems for processing multimedia content captured from a plurality of locations via one or more capturing devices include obtaining multimedia content from one or more capturing devices. The capturing devices identify a type of content being captured and/or location of capture. An interest type for multimedia content is obtained from a consuming user. The multimedia content from the capturing devices are searched based on the interest type of the consuming user. A subset of the multimedia content conforming to the interest type is presented in substantial real-time at the receiving devices of the consuming users. Feedback regarding the presented multimedia content is obtained from consuming users and communicated to the capturing devices in substantial real-time so as to influence future capture of multimedia content.

摘要: A method for enabling users to share information across websites. A user may add some information to augment a posting on a first website to annotate its content. The information may be displayed on the first website as a related file and stored in a user augmented content system (UACS) database as an individual document. Another user may add some information to a posting on a second website to enrich its content, and the information may be displayed on the second website as a related file and stored in the UACS database as another individual document. The documents may be stored together with some keywords, and may be tagged, indexed and searchable. Users may easily find out who contributed what to the websites, and configure their websites to automatically receive content newly uploaded to the UACS database. If the augmenting content from the first website is relevant to the content on the second website, it may be automatically distributed to the second website.

摘要: Methods for managing monetization of live multimedia content include identifying a plurality of producers generating live multimedia content in a communication network. The identified plurality of producers is interactively connected to one or more consumers requesting multimedia content through the communication network. A monetization mechanism is provided for matching requests for multimedia content between the plurality of producers and consumers. The monetization mechanism manages monetization revenue of the multimedia content. The monetization revenue is automatically assigned to the producer of the multimedia content based on interaction at the corresponding multimedia content.

摘要: At a server on a network, the reformatting of media is enabled by indicating that a media object in a first format is available for conversion into a second format, receiving, over the network, a representation of the media object in the second format, associating the media object in the second format with the media object in the first format, and making the representation available to at least one recipient. The representation may be the media object itself or a link to the media object.
