摘要： A child protector mechanism includes a base member, a first lever, a second lever, a bush arranged between the first lever and the second lever, a child protector lever for moving the bush to an unset position or a set position, and a position retaining mechanism provided between the first lever and the bush. The bush is retained at each of the unset position and the set position by the position retaining mechanism provided between the first lever and the bush. Therefore, when assembling the bush and the first lever to the base member, the bush is retained at a predetermined position (for example, unset position) with respect to the first lever so that the bush does not move. Thus, the easiness of assembly of the bush and the first lever and the easiness of assembly of the child protector lever are excellent.

The attachment hole 27a of the metal sub-base plate 27 is fitted to the support shaft 11a, so that the base unit A2 is integrated with the housing unit A1. The metal sub-base plate 27 is provided with a receiving portion 27b for restraining a lean in the vehicle width direction (W direction) of a child-proof lever 36 at a back part of the child-proof lever 36.

A holding section is provided to the opening lever. The holding section holds the opening link at a holding position between the lock position and the unlock position when the opening link becomes switched by the locking lever through the lock operation unit from the lock position to the unlock position with the opening link driven by the opening lever.

The lever mechanism includes a key rotor which includes a coupling hole to which an inner end of a rod is coupled in a torque transmittable manner and is rotatably assembled to a housing, and a key lever which includes a hub which is coupled to the key rotor in a torque transmittable manner and is arranged in the housing. The key lever includes a first arm which extends to radial outward direction from the hub and is capable of engaging with a first engagement portion of the active lever, and a second arm which extends to radial outward direction from the hub and is capable of engaging with a second engagement portion of the active lever.

The active lever, provided with an elongated bore, is supported by a housing which houses the operating mechanism to be rotatable. The open link is operatively connected to the handle to be slidably supported by the housing and is provided with an engaging portion which engages with the elongated bore to be slidable therein.

This device includes an open member (1) being movable in a direction of releasing a door lock, an inside lever (2) for being actuated by an input from an inside handle, a movable operating member (3) for moving the open member (1) in the direction of releasing the door lock, a child protecting member (4) capable of being switched by an operation of an operating portion (41) between a set position to execute child protection and an unset position not to execute child protection, and a base (5). The child protecting member (4) is rectilinearly movable between the set position (S1) and the unset position (S2) and inhibited from being rotated with respect to the base (5).
