摘要： A display apparatus includes a transparent display device, a first polarizer on a first surface of the transparent display device, a first retarder between the first polarizer and the first surface of the transparent display device, a second polarizer on a second surface of the transparent display device opposite the first surface, and a conversion retarder between the second polarizer and the second surface of the transparent display device, the conversion retarder being configured to delay a wavelength of the external light within a range from a first phase to a second phase and to transmit the wavelength-delayed light therethrough when power is supplied to the conversion retarder.

The intermediate layer is disposed between the first and second electrodes. The organic light emitting device can readily secure a uniform brightness characteristic.

摘要： A plasma display panel with improved driving timings and reduced number of scan lines. The plasma display panel includes: a first substrate and a second substrate; red (R), green (G) and blue (B) discharge cells between the first substrate and the second substrate at crossing regions of sustain electrodes and address electrodes between the first substrate and the second substrate. A G discharge cell form a pixel with an adjacent one B discharge cell or an adjacent R discharge cell in the first direction, and the G discharge cell and an adjacent G discharge cell in the second direction are offset from each other in the first direction by ½ of a discharge cell pitch of the plasma display panel.

摘要： A display device has centers of three sub-pixels arranged to form a triangle together and one side of the triangle is orientated in the same direction as a vertical direction of a displayed image. When a black or white vertical line is displayed, image signal data of left and right pixels adjacent to the black or white vertical line are converted into cyan-biased or magenta-biased image signal data, thereby enhancing the visibility and readability of displayed characters.
