    摘要： An image fixing control system and method are provided comprising a power supply, a power switching unit, a heating roller, in which a temperature detector detects a temperature of the heating roller, and a controller detects a temperature variation slope of the heating roller using the temperature detected by the temperature detector and controls an on and off switching operation of the power switching unit according to the detected temperature variation slope. Accordingly, by varying a duty ratio of power through a phase control using a temperature variation slope of a heating roller, a fine control of a fixing system can be performed. In addition, since a temperature variation, that is, overshoot or undershoot, of the heating roller is reduced, a fixing efficiency can be increased.

    摘要： Provided is a parallel program execution method in which in order to reflect structural characteristics of a multithreaded processor-based parallel system, performance of the parallel loop is predicted while compiling or executing using a performance prediction model and then the parallel program is executed using an adaptive execution method.The method includes the steps of: generating as many threads as the number of physical processors of the parallel system in order to execute at least one parallel loop contained in the parallel program; by the generated threads, executing at least one single loop of each parallel loop; measuring an execution time, the number of executed instructions, and the number of cache misses for each parallel loop; determining an execution mode of each parallel loop by determining the number of threads used to execute each parallel loop based on the measured values; and allocating the threads to each physical processor according to the result of the determination to execute each parallel loop.The method significantly improves the performance of the parallel program driven in the multithreaded processor-based parallel system.

    摘要： A fixing device of an image forming apparatus includes a fixing roller rotatably mounted on a moving path of a printing medium having a toner image transferred thereon to fuse the toner image on the printing medium, a heater mounted in the fixing roller to generate a magnetic field by applied voltage, thus heating the fixing roller, and at least one magnetic core disposed around the fixing roller to concentrate, onto the fixing roller, the magnetic field generated by driving the heater. Accordingly, a density difference of the magnetic field generated by the heater is minimized by disposing the at least one magnetic core around the fixing rollers, thus enabling a uniform fixing temperature.

The pulse generating unit generating an increasing sawtooth wave pulse may have a relatively simple circuit configuration relative to that of the pulse generating unit generating a decreasing sawtooth wave pulse, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.

    摘要： An image printer uses a common filter to remove harmonic waves generated at a common operating frequency band of a fixing module to fix toner onto a print medium using high frequency power generated from a high frequency generator and a switch mode power supply module to supply operating power to the high frequency generator. The image printer includes a fixing module to fix toner to a print medium using high frequency power generated from a high frequency generator, a switch mode power supply module to supply operating power to the high frequency generator, and a band pass filter to filter harmonic waves of a common operating frequency band of the fixing module and the switch mode power supply module. The fixing module rectifies an input AC current supplied through the band pass filter to generate a high frequency current and fixes the toner to the print medium by generating heat using the generated high frequency current. The switch mode power supply module rectifies the input AC current supplied through the band pass filter to generate a current necessary to operate the high frequency generator and supplies the generated current to the high frequency generator.
